Nice. He needs the Yamato 1/48 one. Mine should be here Monday or Tuesday. The waiting is killing me since VF-1Js are my favorite VF variant.

Last night was playing around with my VF-1D and realized you can pop the chest plate and maybe use one from a regular VF to fit the armor just for the pictures. I would try to do that but my first revival should be arriving next week. Also was trying to find a way to remove the whole cockpit area to recreate the Yamato gimick but it seems to be super glued. I seem not to find any screws.

My plan was to display one VF-1S with the VF-0S. One Armored VF-1J with the Super VF-1S And now that we are getting a full Vermillion team I needed a VF-1J to complete the team. A still would need a VF-1S to pair it with the VF-1D tho. These things being relatively cheap allow to go for full team displays without losing an eye or a kidney 😂

Jesus, didn't knew Bandai was mess at deciding what to release and in what particular order. Anyways, I went and grabbed an other GBP revival just in case. Don't want to end with mixed shades of white if a revival or a specific TV VF-1J never gets released. Luckily Bandai will keep consistent with the shade of white in the DX line 😂

This is getting wild. I still remember the days if the old Yamato V.2 releases. I ended with multiple VF-1S after they started releasing the TV series valks. Never liked the Strike Parts on the bright white TV series like Arcadia did.

Wasn't aware of that one. The only 3 I know are the original Hi Metal release, the one in the GBP bundle and the Hi Metal R stand alone. Is the last one the one you are referring to?

That makes me think about passing on the original release and get a second revival to have a naked VF-1J for the upcoming Vermillion team since those will be bright too I guess. I will end with an unused GBP armor tho.

Just I quickie since I got some spare time to open and play a bit with my Hi Metal VF-1D Need to dig our the Yamato V.1. from where ever it is in storage for a group shot. As far as I know only these 4 are the only official releases of a transforming VF-1D toys of the Macross series plus the Virgin road.

Does AE charges up front on TWE items? I was planning to skip the preorders and hunt them down at the release dates but I better play safe.

Have Acadia given a word about the trims being yellow or gold? I would like to change my gold trims one for the one with the yellow ones but the product photos at HLJ show one with the gold trims. I guess this one is just a test shot for the assembly and not the colors.

I'd love to get kinda down-sized RMS-1 missiles and DRYL micro-missile pods for display in Battroid mode. Since I recently got me a VF-1S strike to be displayed in Battroid mode I feel it kinda incomplete without them and the ones that came with missile set look way to big.
