  1. Bandai is simply not willing to take any risks! They underestimate the market for this line
  2. Bandai VF-25s... After i got the VF-27, the 25s look especially cheap in comparison. Its almost like the design team did not really bother to try to make a good toy.
  3. Graham's inbox is currently voluntarily dis-abled, as he is simply too busy right now to take in new requests for shoulders. Watch his signature for updates regarding this matter.
  4. Get any one which is on sale prices, since you are pretty much starting on a clean slate.
  5. Not over sized if you base it on this pic:
  6. I think this regult is the size i expect from 1/60, though compared to the 1/60 Q-raus, it seems a tad bigger. Whatever it is, seems to be too small for 1/48.
  7. Thinking of getting a couple there myself right now! Only thing is that it seems each person is only entitled to order 1 of the marked down items.... So no multiple fast packs... Hm.....
  8. 2nd that. The partially obscured uniformed thing seems to be on a clear plastic riser.
  9. The Strike parts are listed as 'discontinued' on HLj, thus you can't find them. TV Superpartsare in the "figures" section (?!?!), thus most people don't look there as well.
  10. Well... the good news is that sometimes the items make it to HLJ, just like some of the weathered exclusives and the non-assembled VF-1S.
  11. This is really cool stuff!
  12. Yes... it has been 2 years since Macross Frontier 1st started airing (2 1/2 if we consider the Deculture edition as well)..... and guess what? The year after next will be the 30th anniversary of Macross.
  13. Hi, http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT00106 Standalone TV Super parts are still available.
  14. Congratulations, and welcome to the club! I hope you are happy with your purchase. Nice shots too!
  15. I guess just don't have too much faith that the price will be that affordable....
  16. Finally got my VF-27 Brera custom. Fighter mode looks way more gorgeous than in the pictures. Thinking of getting another while amiami still has 50% off shipping... Gonna keep it in that mode. Gotta fold the wings due to lack of space....
  17. I have exactly the same sentiments
  18. The description says "一条 辉", so the figure included is TV Hikaru. Makes sense, as Roy never did live long enough to see the booby ducks. It would have been perfect if they gave us a TV roy figure as well...
  19. Strictly speaking, this isn't any Sheryl Guard. Just itasha, but with a model plane instead. Definition here.
  20. Indeed a poignant moment with that portion when Gamlin finds Physica's family only to find that they have moved on, and the kid is calling someone else dad! Gamlin referred to it as "tragic". Why tragic? Because the family has moved on? Because Physica had no idea that things were going on behind him? Or even worse: physica had been fighting all this while for nothing and in fact, for smeone who does not care about him or meant nothing to them? Or worst, someone who has betrayed him totally? In any case, it was one of the few moments in macross 7 when the viewer is made to experience a sense of regret for a character, in this case a minor character. Great moment.
  21. Sorry to dig up an old thread but while browsing ARC forums, I came across an example of what I hope can be released from Yamato: Credit to "Jack-pilot" (original thread Here Hopefully Yamato is still considering releasing some detailing kits
  22. The Super 1J pic , IIRC, was te box art for the old ARII/ IMAI box art for the VF-1 model kits (1/100 I think). As for the -standalone strike packs, though it is pretty much sold out now, but about or slighly more than 1 year ago, it was going on offer at HLJ for quite a while... I know cuz I got a pair from that time. Either way, I kinda like the Super 1J set, goodstuff, if you can get past the shoulders. Those who could get past it should have rejoiced very much during the sale for the 1J @ hlj just a few days back.
  23. It is the normal V.2 1/60 VF-1S, but assembled and unpainted. HLJ has them, though they are supposed to be web exclusives, and at a pretty good price too. http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT00185
  24. I would've have gotten mine in had... if not for the stupid Singapore Post Office's policy of bringing it back to HQ after a failed delivery and not allowing re-scheduling ntil at least 2 days AFTER the failed delivery.... anyway, thats for another thread. Can't wait to see what kind of contents there are... I mean, the weight of the package of this unpainted version is heavier than a normal valks's package weight, so kinda wondering if there are sprues or anything that added to the weight.
