  1. It the toy's tail section went as far back, it would mean that the backpack would sit way higher (like the old HCMs) than wat is somewhat flush to the 2 shoulder lights in battroid mode (line art is flush)
  2. Actually Graham lives in Hong Kong, but yeah, that place has got amazing deals too
  3. No worries M8! I think most lubricating oils should be ok, as long as they are properly cleansed after you've done what you need to do with the shoulders.
  4. Hy GU-11, I've finally managed to find this post by a fellow forum member vf2ss: I think this should be especially helpful to you.
  5. I've just got my Quarter and Ex-gear from Amiami late last week. Paid On Wedesday evening, shippied out Thursday and arrived on Saturday. Amazingly fast. But I must say that they have gone to pretty great pains to pack the 2 items. A good 50% of the box they were shipped in were filled with styrofoam stuffing, on top of the buttle wrap surrounding the actual items No way for the items inside to get hurt. But the size of the shipping box was amazing though.
  6. Yay! its back! Time to time I really like to visit M3 just to geek out at line art and other stuff... just like the mags I have at home
  7. Had to be the holiday mood setting in before the workers went for their long Lunar New Year holidays
  8. Nothing happened to him, but his VF-11 sufferes from loose hip syndrome: the left leg cannot be attached to the hip T-bar.
  9. The easiest answer is that they can't milk the moulds as much, not to mention the fact that "enemy" mecha (at least til the last episode anyway) isn't exactly popular with mainstream buyers....thus the higher price per unit,
  10. I think this only applies to the 1/48. The new 1/60 version's attachment points for the chest armor are differernt and the Vf-1D should be able to put them on with no problems... at least that is what i understand
  11. Eyesonme: It is OUT!
  12. I really can't remember which magazine it was, but I know I found it in the magazine section (one of the vintage magazines) here at MW. The full image of the page is attached.... hopefully that helps.
  13. Exceptional work!
  14. I'm saying this by inference. the main beef I have with the Bandai VF-25s are the loose crotches (see sig). Thus if the design remains the same, I am very fearful that the crotch lock will not withstand more than just a few transformations before becoming ineffective
  15. Darn... another loose crotch?
  16. Ah... I know where you referenced this pose from! I've been hoping someone would do this for a long time!
  17. Definitely not Macross Ultimate Frontier, thus should be the pachinko game... the art style looks similar.
  18. Thanks guys for the kind comments. I was inspired by Kirik with his 2 in one detolfs (though I lack the carpentry skills to saw off the extra connecting edges), and extra shelves are inspired by some other folks from around the internet, though I should be the the 1st to use binding clips.
  19. Hm.... extremely cramped working conditions for the Zents. Definitely can't be having a spare tyre if they were to get into their tiny work space through the back hatch
  20. While I like my valks anime accurate in terms of colors (in this case white), there is one major reason why for yamato's valks I like it slightly grey instead: yellowing. I worry for all the pure white valks I have... and the GBP armor...
  21. My newly "renovated" Detolfs! Individual sections
  22. Really? Bringing toys on trips? Never thought of doing that... expecially not when I am sharing a hotel room with a colleague/ friend.
  23. The shoulders are pretty much free moving to enable to fuller range of motions, not a flaw per se, though I can understand how people might perceive it to be.
  24. In the anime, I don't remember the VF valks being green.... more like standard CF colors to me, which I think this rendition does pretty well
  25. Looking forward to that.
