  1. So did anyone else watch it tonight? So far I like it, has a interesting vibe to it.
  2. Cool, I look forward to that update!
  3. Thanks Drew, thats the encouragement that keep me moving! Have you done any recent illustrations?
  4. Hahaha!! I was just going to tell you about this set. Its rare the Hobby Lobby by me doesn't have these in stock. For the price its well worth it!
  5. So very very true about those Nano-liner pens, pretty crappy (they're not even really that good as a sketch pen on paper). Microns on the other hand are excellent!
  6. Has anyone ever made replacement wings Via shapeways before for the old Gakken Alphas? I'd love to fix my Red Alpha someday.
  7. If I'm ever out that way I'll have to stop and visit.
  8. Not sure if this was already posted, but this is a new series premiering tonight on Adultswim/Toonami. So far I am definitely enjoying it.
  9. Thanks guys, getting the shadows & shading just right is always a challenge that I love. As my story continues to progress, time for my characters to wear more than just their school uniforms. Will post some mecha related items soon.
  10. I saw GRAVITY about 2 weeks ago and completely agree that if it should be released in IMAX 3D, KS City here I come. After watching this the one thought than ran through my mind was how many people on this forum & others had originally said, "Great trailer, but that was probably the best part and the rest will be flashbacks or something like that." Hell no, best E-Ticket ride in years! The absence of sound really adds to the movie! On a side note about BSG, I remember hearing a Podcast (or Commentary) once where RDM said they had considered using no sound in space for added realism, but in the end decided to go with the muted sound effects.
  11. I've been keeping a bowl of popcorn handy when I read this thread, great entertainment!
  12. Could be various lighting in pictures perhaps. I will say one thing, what a frakking shame that plane is just wasting away outdoors, should be properly displayed in a museum. All that time, money & effort it deserves better than that.
  13. Here's a picture of the two Prototypes.
  14. My first illustration of the new year. I'm having my form of writers block when it comes to a background for now.... eventually it will come to me.
  15. Can you really blame your friend? (Enjoy 2:42)
  16. When do we get to see the R-rated trailer, that one was to mild for me?
  17. We're gonna need someone like Captain America to make that happen. I'm no fortune teller but I don't ever see Arcadia or Bandai ever making this one in toy form. By the way the VF-2SS+SAP is my personal favorite Valk!
  18. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CK_NkL3pZrg Speaking of a Merry Christmas, this is a great performance! Although I must admit I was LMAO as this sounds a lot like the National Lampoons Christmas vacation theme song.
  19. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvbC7tE2uzA My Avatar in action! Hopefully SM will release an actual pro-cut of this performance, til then enjoy in HD!
  20. I only have the Bandai kit, and normally just leave it in Battroid mode. Despite the dislike of the OVA the mecha kicked ass from the series and I'll keep on hoping a 1/60 toy from either Arcadia or Bandai comes to fruition someday including VF-2JA. Hell I'll settle for a 1/72 or 1/48 model kit in Fighter or Battroid mode Hasegawa.
