    Occultic;Nine was kinda annoying and all over the place but i plodded through because of the semi-colon in the title (think Steins;Gate). now with ep7, things have finally become very interesting. still, with just 5 episodes to go, it's a crapshoot whether they'll be able to pull of an S;G.

    $350 is probably the upper limit for me. i recall there was a Wonderfest 1/72 Big Vajra on YJA going for ~24k yen IIRC. likely smaller than this one and probably not poseable. lost track of the little vajras. did they end up getting their own sculpted tails? or did you stick with the glow rods?

    from Hot Toys website: i take this to mean that this new version will still come with an XLIII bust/upper body (just like the first version), but if one now chooses to put in a full-body XLIII then the new version design makes it possible. i don't particularly like the XLIII so i'm definitely not getting one to pair with this HB. i wonder though if other armors will fit inside. i lost out bidding for a rare Sheryl figure, so i suppose i'll have funds for this.

    placed an order for a bunch of bases, but hope i can still add on arms and adapters which i still haven't figured out yet. part of the reason is that i can't remember what arms/adapters i already ordered from you a year or two ago. they are in storage so i can't check. hope you have a record of that previous order. will send you PM. thanks

    i will take up that offer. just haven't gotten around to figuring out what to order. will look into it when i get home, 12 hours from now.

    not so sure about this. if what i read is true, a substantial chunk of the funds were being spent setting up a commercial studio for future productions that not will not necessarily be exclusively for future Trek fan films. so while there may be no cash profit per se, the committee stands to gain commercial benefits in kind (ie. assets), which a number of the backers found issue with. not to mention some questionable salaries being taken.

    the Girls und Panzer movie was ridiculously fun! wish i'd seen it on the big screen. i'll be re-watching this repeatedly for some time.

    i think those are tarmac bases. what chyll2 might be asking about are the carrier decks with blast shields. i'm not aware of the gimix line having released any carrier decks, though i hope they will. carrier decks in 1/144 are rather hard to come by, more so those with blast shields.
