    I've only bought like one set of any upgrades and t hat was for my G2 Megatron. I wanted to get more but the cost of those things are just to much for what I honestly feel you get. But then I stumbled on a website that lets you print those exact files and one of them I got was the feet for Ironhide and ratchet. I made mine using my Elegoo Mars, airbrushed them and gave them a light clear coat. The only regret was the shade of Red I used for Ironhide, some reason it looked good before clear coating now it's several shades darker. Probably the same issue the people selling them are having. Still, new feet and wheels on these guys really helps a ton. I was also able to get files to make my own Eject and Rewind, Rumble and Frenzy that'll work with Soundwave and blaster. So for now, I feel pretty content with my collection thus far.

    gonna be honest, with PLAMAX discontinuing their 1/20 scale kits, I'd be very interested in building one of these for myself.

    I figured out what the problem was, so I take back what I had said about the scaling. It was entirely Cura's fault. With that being said there does seem to be issues in getting it to work properly, This is coming from the solid variation full model that you uploaded. This could lead to a total print failure I believe.

    So I made a compromise...I decided to give Kitz Concept a chance, and I also picked up a KO 1/60 on Aliexpress for a pretty good price. I had enough in savings to kind of just do that and spoil myself a little bit. I ordered from Kitz just the brownie VF-1J, and the KO 1/60 is Hikaru's VF-1S movie edition with the FAST Packs. See what happens from there. Either I'll like Kitz or I'll not. We'll see in a few weeks!

    I mean a two pack that's a repaint of Kup and Scourge isn't a surprise, plus it comes with Vector Sigma....so I guess I'm okay with that. Pointblank, I mean, eh, I'll either get him or pass. Inferno will be a must have, course I'm collecting the Stunticons so that's a must, Skullgrin....I feel a bit disappointed, I don't know, either I'll get him or I'll pass, I wanna see more images of him in particular before I make a decision. I already got his Titan's Return little guy so to me it doesn't really matter I suppose.

    I mean if it's a Hulu exclusive, and I'm already signed up for the service, it's not a big deal to watch it and check it out....it's either gonna be okay, or just really stupid. I highly doubt it's gonna be as awesome as what I remember with the first two films.

    I’ve been seeing those KOs popping up on eBay. Sorta sounds hit or miss in those as well. I remember my old Yamato V2 1/60s had problems with the shoulder hinges cracking over time. Hopefully that’s been fixed. I haven’t bought a Yamato/Arcadia product since 2011. so this brings me to another question, are these KC toys shipping from china then? It’s not some warehouse in the states?

    So lemme ask here.......cause these VF-1's are all I can afford. There's no way with how hot and impossible the Bandai DX stuff is that I'll ever get to owning one let alone affording them. Are these Kitz Concept VF-1's really all that bad? I mean those are some glaring and awful QC Issues here.

    So I just watched the origins version of Episode 15, and honestly thought it was pretty boring. It was cool seeing some of the GM Color schemes out there. Pretty much was about it.

    Good question, and the answer is no, infact if anything, it'll probably get worse. If any sort of buyer takes over chances are they'll wanna cut corners to make more money in any way they can using cheaper materials and paint while upping prices and maybe even doing exclusives. That's sort of one of many things that did TRU in and one of the biggest, inflation costs causing them to raise prices and attempting to land exclusive deals for certain toy lines only to be scalped and charged 3-5x's the price online.

    Bankruptcy is kind of a loose thing, there are a ton of different styles out there and doesn't really mean they're going to go out of business. Really it just means they're going to perform some kind of a stunt that gets them assistance in funding probably.

    I'm on the fence. I haven't built a Macross related kit in forever and feel pretty out of practice. I just wish these had a pilot, hell, I wish they would produce those VF-1's again.

    I also received my G2 Jihaxus and I love his robot mode, it's fantastic and is fairly comic-like accurate versus his alternate cybertronian jet mode. I guess I was never really happy with the other incarnations of the character cause I had always known him as this form versus the others, I read the G2 comics, and enjoyed them for their dark tones and grittiness, and specifically this character for his savagery towards the end of the series. But seeing how I have a fairly decent size collection now of G2 characters on my shelf there wasn't any way I was going to pass up the chance of getting this character so I had to click on the pre-order. Again though, that jet mode just didn't do it for me, it strays very far from his comic-book styling in either G2 or Regen: One and that sorta makes me sad.

    I'm thinking about going out tomorrow cause it's been a few months. Anything in particular I should keep an eye out for that might be fun? I'm seeing you guys talking about all this magicsquare stuff, I know they're legend scale TFers but are they really that good?

    Truthfully the whole thing seems......bad. I want it to be good, but I feel like it's not going too. I might be out of line, but lately a lot of these movies are having heroine type characters who seem out of place or wanna "Be with the boys" and it's written so badly. Now don't get me wrong, I felt Ripley was a great archetype but that was because she had already encountered an ALIEN. Here, we've got some native american girl who wants to be a warrior and now she's gonna prove herself by taking on a Predator? ......I dunno, I just dunno. I'm hoping for the best, but seeing how the franchise has been since the 90's, I just doubt it.

    I picked up some upgrades recently for a few of my figures like G2 Selects Megatron, Coronation Starscream and Legacy Optimus. For Meg's I got these 3D printed parts going around on ebay giving him a proper shoulder cannon, torso and a various amount of accessories a combination of comics and 90's toy variant. But I also went to Toyhax and picked up decals for him, Screamer and Legacy Optimus to make them into proper G2 stylings. I'm still working on them but Megatron and Starscream look fantastic and there are some extra stickers for Starscream to use the name "Old Snake" on him. Optimus though, is a pain in my butt. I barely got the trailer going, the outside is finished and looks so much fun. The interior though is just a pain, looking over 3 different areas to know which sticker is right. But, they do seem to really help enhance his look which I felt was sorely needed. I'll get some pictures up when I'm done, I do dig how they're all looking and makes me wanna get some more modern G2 looking stuff.

    I got no clue who this guy is to be number 14, and honestly, I just wish him all the luck cause it's an uphill battle to me. He's gonna get shat on just as much as Jodi was. I dunno if I even wanna bother watching anyways, I haven't since Capaldi left.

    After family and I had watched and tried to stomach Season 2 of Picard, we were a tad hesitant on Strange New Worlds, but bit the bullet and we gave the first episode a shot. Honestly, that was not bad at all. I liked that Pike kinda poked fun at the transporting thing, the Enterprise sets still while modernized had enough of the old school touch to not feeling alienating and distancing like Discovery. Uniforms I thought are kind of odd, while homaging TOS, there's still several different variations of the 3 main colors and that sorta makes me go "Eh? can't we just settle on one design pattern with the 3 colors?" Yeah I mean I remember kirk had a green tunic and all that, but he did eventually succumb to the standard command gold.

    The alternators were pretty fun back then, honesty regret selling the majority of them.

    fairly tempted on backing this. they've got more than enough pledged to do the project....but sametime that basic core set is still pretty spendy for what little you're getting.
