  1. At the very least, just repainting the nose yellow, the upper stabilizers black, and throwing on some skull decals makes it look 10x better and is pretty easy to do.
  2. I could've forgiven a mediocre battroid and kept my preorder if fighter mode looked sleek and tight. This fighter reminds me of the Bandai M7 toys from the 90s.
  3. I blame Char's Counterattack for that. I'm sure others did it before, but I'm going to blame CC anyway because I had to sit through 90 minutes of Quess. Battle damaged would be the early Bandai Frontier toys that would fall apart just sitting on a shelf.
  4. Differently colored TV super parts already exist. I hope Arcadia reissues them too, though they'll probably be substantially more expensive than when Yamato released them. But can't be any worse than the current aftermarket prices.
  5. If by PERFECT you mean like the odd couple, then yes, it will be PERFECT.
  6. Can never have too many super & strike parts, I say.
  7. I take it that Bandai is bankrolling Delta like Frontier, so I'm pretty sure Bandai will have exclusive license for any transforming toys. I do hope that Arcadia may be able to eventually pick up the Frontier license. I'd love to see an Arcadia VF-25 though I know I won't like the price tag.
  8. Arcadia just needs to implement a zero G feature into such a stand. It'll be fine.
  9. Five 0S's! That's amazing! Just email Amiami and ask to cancel the order and they should let you. I've done so a few times. However, I am a lazy, lazy man, and that extra bit of hassle discourages me from pre-ordering from them. Also, HLJ's private warehouse has encouraged me to order more through them.
  10. Wow that looks really bad. No neck either. I'm with the others on this. If it was half of its asking price, it might be worth checking out. Canceling my pre-order and using that money on another 0S or 4G.
  11. Oh, um, let's just say it was lost in combat and leave it at that.
  12. Thanks to a fellow MW member, I finally have Max's movie 1A (again)! Also, there was a mystery toy included, possibly Macross-related.
  13. Bought another one to use with the TV color super parts I got. Guess I can put the extra Hikaru figure from the GBP set to good use too.
  14. A tiny bit of blue tack on the seat or pilot's rear end will keep them in place when whooshing around. I mean really tiny; almost microscopic is all that's really needed. I've had to blue tack pilots for the VF-4, VF-0D, and VF-19s to keep them from tossing around the cockpit.
  15. Yes, that's why I'm into a show about giant space aliens and jets that transform into robots: the realism! I'd also like to add that "boring" and "low-vis" are not the same thing, as I've seen some great low-vis schemes. I also don't consider the VF-4G to be "low-vis" because, come on, look at that thing. It's barely one step removed from being white.
  16. Bleh! I'm in for a couple more units, but they're all going to be repainted to something less bland. I think only the VF-11C surpasses this level of dullness.
  17. They've trained us well. Even I feel compelled to get another one at that price and the last thing I need is yet another YF-29.
  18. VF-4 OMG!!! Even though I customized mine into an FB2012-ish scheme with my limited skills and resources way back when, I would absolutely love a proper FB2012 version!! I'll even happily pay current VF-0 prices for it!

3 from Amiami, 3 from CD Japan. Think I'm good now.

It's usually 4 pm Japan time for Amiami with other online retailers popping up shortly afterwards.
  21. If money is a big factor, I'd try and grab the more recent releases that are still floating around so you can get them close to their retail price. There was a link posted just yesterday to HLJ with additional VF-19 Advance stock (now sold out, unfortunately). Looking at your list, I'd say Isamu's VF-19 or Rod's YF-29. The ones that have been out of production for awhile are generally going to be well above retail, and they'll still be above retail in a few weeks or months. Only exception would be Brera's VF-27; I've been able to find those at around its original retail price, so that might be a good choice too. But honestly, it comes down to which you like best. Five of your choices are YF-29s, and they're all the same aside from paint schemes and a different head unit, so it really does come down to personal preference and what you can afford. If I was in your shoes, I'd get the VF-19. As far as Frontier valkyries go, it's a beautiful and unique unit, especially if you don't have a YF-19 already.
