    Transformed it and I have to say it looks 10x better with the strike parts added. I almost wish I had bought a second one. It also helps that Hikaru is wearing the correct flight suit this time around. I don't care what rationalizations are thrown around, the GBP 1J has the wrong damn flight suit.

    Opened up my Hikaru 1S today and I have to say I already like it more than the 1J. Feet are straight this time. Chest stripes are angled so it doesn't look like a Takatoku. Actual clear visor part instead of painted on. No comically oversized UN Spacy kite on the front fuselage. Still don't like the backpack design though. I'll have to paint the red dot on the head myself and no head arrows. Bandai cheaps out on the strangest things. Might even transform it later and see if fighter mode is less of an eyesore this time around.

    Sadly, I don't. Oh well. I didn't pay that much for it, so I may find some use for it in the future. Maybe find another junk VF-1 and make 1 good unit...

    Looks like I flew too close to the sun on wings of pastrami... Bought a B grade VF-1A from Jungle for a pretty low price. The only issue they told me about aside from the "sunburned" box was the rainbow canopy was starting to crinkle. Not a big deal. I can just remove it if it's a problem. Just got it today and was very disappointed. First thing I noticed was that the outer hardpoints on both wings were broken off. WTF. Alright, fine, I can just keep it in battroid and not have anything attached on the wings. Then I see that one of the lower stabilizers is completely missing. WTF again! That clinched it. This thing is a piece of junk and is only good for spare parts.

    Is there a problem with being #2? Although the Arcadia GBP cost a lot more, it's the HMR GBP that I felt I got ripped off on. But like a bunch of others, I'm only picking up the VF-1s to go with the HMR stuff I'm really looking forward to, which are the Regults and other mecha we'll probably never see in 1/60.

    Rainbow canopy! Been trying to fill in the gaps in my Yamato collection as of late. Also picked up a Hikaru 1A super cheap as well. Can't wait till it arrives!

    At long last... I bought a brownie! Not sure why I needed another Max 1A, but the price was right, so I said why the hell not.

    It'll be good for the newcomers and those who missed out on previous releases and don't want to pay marked up aftermarket prices. Here's hoping Bandai squeezes in a 25G reissue before Delta arrives. I'm guessing once Delta is here we won't be seeing any further Frontier releases.

    Already got 2 Alto 29s so don't need another. I would much rather have another 25G so I can use those speaker pods I've had sitting around for ages. Guess Bandai just needed something to fill in the gap in the 1/60 release calendar till Delta rolls around.

    Transformed my 0A back to fighter mode. While I was at it, I twisted the leg around and pulled it in and out a number of times. No problems. Got lucky and didn't get a bum leg. If we use the poll as a representative sample size, then about 1 in 10 0Ds have broken a leg, and a ridiculous 1 in 4 0As have lost a leg. While a minority in both cases, that is still shockingly high. I don't want to see double digit failure percentages in a toy this expensive. Reconsidering my 0S preorder now...

    Oh I wasn't going to intentionally try to rip it out lol Just rotate it around some, pull the legs in and out... The kind of stress I would expect it to sustain from transforming and posing.

    Even a cursory glance at the anecdotes will show that the poll is not accurate. Poll isn't much use if few people bother voting.
