    So now it's TFC, UT, and MMC whom are all producing Predakings? Yuck. Talk about over-saturating the market. How about some non-combiner love? The upcoming headmasters are neat, but I'm all combinered out.

    I gotta admit, the one thing that Michael Bay can do (better than blow sh*t up, of course) is make cars look GOOD. He got his start directing car commercials, and it shows. I mean, the first scene of BB showing up in his reformatted concept Camero, with Sam and Mikela standing in the tunnel... *drools* I wanted one after that

    I know But they DID set the story and were hella entertaining to boot. That Destiny trailer... just some dudes standing around and shooting at other enemy dudes while a real dude is reciting a poem to some possible little dudes? Fail.

    Once again, I must be the contrarian and say that I like the Bayformer designs. Sure, they don't have the G1 nostalgia, but they have a charm all their own. Except for Optimus' mouth. That @)*! has to GO.

    I love the mecha design of ZOE, especially Jehuty... from the waist up. When it comes to the cockpit.. no. Just no.

    I was decidedly underwhelmed by this video. If you're going to give us a non-gameplay trailer, then at least do it with the style that TOR did, okay?

    That's why I specifically stayed away until the beta was done. I didn't want to complain about how it "used to be so much better" Still having good fun and almost ready to join a corp and get into the nitty and gritty of New Eden . Will I need a microphone for that? Ugh. That's almost as bad as the dog always staring at me...

    I specifically bought a PS3 for DUST 514 and I'm loving every minute of it I expected a Halo-esque shooter and not something as deep as what I got. I love that I can use all weapons with some skill but if I what more I have to put points into it. Reminds me of Mass Effect 1 and the joy I had in making my skills better )

    Respectfully, I have to disagree. I can accept that 25-30 years of time has made for some bumpy transitions, and Robotech was never the most cohesive cartoon around, but I liked what we were given because it was what made Robotech its own story, funky mecha names and all. Macross has done well over the years, far better than Robotech has languished, but despite the commonality between the first generation of animation, it's a vastly different story and feel. Much darker, much more of a downer ending in each story than in Macross/Southern Cross/Mospeada. Add to that all the childhood nostalgia of growing up with the Veritech/Excalibur/Radar-X names and all the stories my brother and I and our friends would make up... Dammit, I'm old(er) and you kids get offa my lawn! *rock rock rock*

    Any add-on set for Ultra Magnus is going to have to measure up to Fans Project's first armour set. IIRC, that was the first real GOOD transforming 3rd Party toy, correct? Either way, it still set the bar so high that it'll be hard to match it.

    There was no comparison meant at all. As I said, I haven't seen it yet beyond that teaser so there's nothing to compare TO. All I said is that the title cards reminded me of the title cards used in 2001. That's it. Any further comparisons will have to wait until I've actually seen the film.

    I haven't seen enough of the movie to make any sort of plot predictions or insults. I'll leave that for others The only reference I made to 2001 is the use of title cards and subtitles at the bottom of the screen. I swear, the subtitles used exactly the same font and sizing as 2001 did. TITLE CARD "The Great Beyond" scene commences.
