  1. I paid for my order about two days before the payment was due. I pre-ordered two sets when they first opened the pre-orders. I have not received my shipping confirmation yet. I'm going to email them since its been about a week when I submitted the payment.

  3. I applied some Mr Color Super Clear on the swivel surface areas and it holds pretty well. Solved the loose joints on my YF-29 30th.
  4. The gap/indentation was is there for the VF-19 variations because of the forearms when its in fighter/gerwalk mode. So it's not like they removed the collapsing panels on the YF-19... Yamato just never implemented them on (or carried them over from the YF-19 onto) the VF-19.

  6. That's a little weird... I received a payment request for the VF-27 from HLJ Friday afternoon EST. Maybe they only received part of their shipment in.
  7. Doesn't HS have a limit of one per customer? EDIT*** Ah nvm. The limit I recalled on HS was for the Gundam Fix Figuration Metal Composite Banshee.
  8. I don't have the game nor have I played it. Who's version of the YF-29 is that, Max's?
  9. (Reference I'm going with v1 and v2 respectively for the 1/60th scale, not counting the 1/72 as v1). There are a couple of things that I could nitpick on (shoulders seem a bit long), but I wont go there cause I'm sure sacrifices were made to make the whole v2 fit together where the v1 failed. However, one thing I must point out. Did they have to really use the same head as v1? I mean they could make the head a little more line art accurate and not sell us the same head from v1.

  12. I agree... I'm awaiting the return confirmation and refund from HLJ regarding the defective one I received.
  13. I had to send two inquires regarding the same issue. One Thursday evening (EST) and they replied stating it should go out Friday (Japan Time), but it never did. I sent the 2nd inquiry Monday evening stating it was two business days and no update. No representative response, but voila... I got a shipment notice and tracking number stating it was just sent out.
  14. Same boat here. NY is seriously dropping the ball on this. I ordered the additional packs on the 28th and they shipped them out the 29th, but my YF-29+packs order that I placed back in March are still 'prep in prog'. I even sent them an inquiry about this and they said that it should be shipped Friday. Still no update yet and it's status is 'prep in prog'.

  16. Got a response from HLJ, just not sure which option to go with: Hi-- Thanks for writing, and thanks for sending the photos. We're sorry the item has defective pieces. Unfortunately, we are not able to get replacement parts for these items, and it is out of stock and discontinued so a replacement item cannot be sent. You can either return the item to us, complete in its packaging with all its pieces, for a full refund (that means the cost of the item, its share of the shipping cost from us to you, AND your cost to return it to us). Or, if you'd rather keep the item, we could give you a 25% refund of its cost--which would be 2975 yen--either sent to your PayPal account or as store credit, which would be automatically applied to your next payable transaction. Please let me know which you would prefer; if you want to return the item, I'll send instructions for an authorized return at that time. Thanks for shopping with HobbyLink Japan.
  17. That's the thing. I checked only the few known suspected missing parts: shoulder verniers, cockpit swing arm (battroid mode), the shoulder connections and under carriage sliding cover (two main culprits). I didn't get to check all the landing gear, battroid heads, poseable manipulators (hands attached to the VF-171s)... etc. It was a quick 'OMG!', quickly opens all the boxes and pulls them out doing a half ass transformations. One of them did have a slight bend on the corner of the same piece for the shoulder, but on the left side. I could live with that though. I hope HLJ doesn't require me to send the item back. I've had them (HLJ) send me replacement parts for Yamato valks in the past, but that was when HLJ was dealing with Yamato. Not sure how Bandaid deals with these issues. But yea, I'll keep you guys posted.
  18. Damn... I was awaiting to get display cases before opening all the VF-171s but because of all the cries about dmged/missing pieces on the VF-171s I decided to check my valks. I had four delivered like two weeks ago (one from amiami and three from hlj) and I only opened one from hlj. Right out of the box one of four had two pieces cracked. Damn... kind of late, but sending an inquiry to HLJ now.

  20. Got my 171 from Amiami today via EMS*. Also received a shipment notice from HLJ this morning.
  21. Was able to get an order in or the 171 but not the 29... -=\. I'm sure it was due to the limit of 10. How sad HLJ...
  22. Probably... looks like they didn't have an order limit. I didn't get one in when I checked.
