Amiami was up for a few mins. Gone now. The funny thing is.... the 171 lasted longer than the 29. Luckily I was able to get one for the 171, but not the 29.

Gone fast on Amiami probably because they did not limit the orders to 1 per household. Its set to 3.

I got mine Monday afternoon, pulled it out to swoosh around a little then put it back in the box... lol.

Pre-orders were opened then closed on AmiAmi for like two minutes earlier, lol. I was debating and then it was gone! Might have just been one p.o. that someone gave up.

Oh wow... okay you guys are correct about the swing bar. That was a feature I did not see or use on my VF-171EX... lol. But they still redid the fuselage for the CF cockpit/canopy. EDIT: And I always thought the swing bar was something Bandai decided to leave out. Yup... it's in the manual. I must've skipped that part when transforming it... lol.

Wow... they actually redid the fuselage that houses the cockpit/canopy. I'm guessing to make it more lineart accurate. There's also an extra set of bars there now supporting the cockpit when in Battroid mode.

This is speculation, but knowing Bandai... they're going to release the superparts and then maybe about half a year later they will announce a VF-27 Renewal. Milking the fans for all they have. Like what they did with the tornado set then a few months later announcing the VF-25 Renewals.

I got mine in. QC error as it's missing a screw on the front part of the right foot/thruster. There are two screws securing the part... hopefully it wont fall apart. Maybe I can steal a similar screw from the 1st VF-25G that I have. Other than that no other major QC issues.

Paid for mine the 16th as well... and just got notice yesterday (the 3rd) that it was just shipped out. Maybe they're going by who placed their pre-orders first? I was on the late boat... a couple days (2/3?) after the first price because I missed the first run and ended up with 230 a pop.

Wow some good prices... even otacute has theirs as well but at a higher price $214 (US). I should have waited on other sites before paying for my NY order.

I know... I was just trolling, lol. I meant that small sequence from the movie where he went straight from fighter to battroid... I believe it was right after he drew up the dino bird in the sky.

Isamu didn't use the gerwalk mode during the test flight in the Macross Plus Movie Edition. I don't remember the exact timing position in the movie, but he went straight from the plane mode to the battroid mode. There was no gerwalk mode, lol.
