  1. LOL. Thanks for pointing that out. I highly doubt I would buy this clear version... not even for displaying. Bandai's paint jobs absolutely suck! Transform them once and expect paint to flake off. If Bandai really wanted this bird to be that exclusive they should have included clear super packs or clear armored parts as well. ***EDIT*** Not to even mention the mark up on this thing... since tamashii has it listed at 15,000 yen.
  2. I would agree. Maybe a bit lighter...
  3. Really....?!?!?!? Great this gives me another 6 months to really save up for doubles or triples of each! XD
  4. Yea... at some point I would have to stop with buying all the exclusive stuff and start with custom paint jobs (which require stronger/better paint).
  5. LOL... I'd hate to say it only because it's probably going to happen if they do make the VF-171. Bandai will probably make an Alto exclusive and an Elint version (or the Elint exclusive and Alto being the regular).
  6. Read a couple pages back in the thread.
  7. Yea... I would recommend Overdrive rather than HLJ. XD
  8. Yea... I'm aware. It's just too damn bad. -=\
  9. Damn Bandai and their exclusives. They should have realized they would've banked more by selling these products publicly and not just to the locals. But yes the clear VF-25 definitely speaks exclusive; the armor set not so.
  10. Yea... edwin posted up the really good point I was too lazy to argue about last night. Bleh, w/e. I have pretty good eye for detail. Since the birds should have started being produced I'm pretty sure Yamato would just retake shots instead of photoshop (one less person to pay or less effort needed). The blue and black (b&b) is a photoshop of it's original counterpart (b&r), but definitely not of the orange or orange of the b&b. Additional area's on top of Repiv's:
  11. Not no photoshop. Just look at the displacement of each bird, they won't take the time to photoshop the background too... >.>
  12. OMG... what the freaking hell. >.> Alright... if this is the case I may just buy Ozma's and repaint it lol. Hopefully I have enough money for this one by the time October comes around. -=\ ***EDIT*** DAMN BANDAI! Yamato isn't this bad at least.... HMM... why couldn't they just make this a normal release version and then release a transparent exclusive version.... >.> ***RE-EDIT*** Hmm... either that just keep playing with Ozma's until the paint falls off (which should be pretty quick) then repaint it for altos. XD
  13. Yea I would definitely agree with captain. I was going to state that last night, but figured since it's a prototype/mock up I would wait until its been confirmed whether it's a variable or not. ***EDIT*** The fuselage definitely looks a bit too "one piece" to me. Along with a few other sections. I figured they would've made the wings separate from the body at least. However, it looks real nice with all the detail.
  14. Uh-oh... you know what this means they'll have to remake the plastic stems to hold the gun pods in fighter mode!
  15. Thanks for the clarification/translation.
  16. Thanks for the speculation, but translation plox! XD
  17. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...st&id=66896 I can't read Japanese, but couldn't help to notice that on the board in the back it mentions something about the VF-22? I know this is Bandai's showcase and not Yamatos. Could someone translate?
  18. WOW! That was a really speedy and fantastic job! Kudos!
  19. Hell. I cancelled my two early bird orders with HLJ for the VF-22 and gave my business to Overdrive (even though with the early bird HLJ was like $1.75 cheaper for each). I really hesitate when giving my business to HLJ because of the time I ordered a Yamato 1/60 VF-0 Shin and VF-0S. The boxes came in super smashed down to the plastic tray and there was no bubble wrap or anything to absorb any of the damage. HLJ pretty much packed the valks in an exact 1:1 shipping box size.
  20. When the order is placed.
  21. Don't quote me on this... from what I can recall (here on the forums) I don't think there were any real cases which a group of people were affected with the YF-21. If not then you would definitely see people raising questions like... did Yamato fix broken wing flap hip joint elbow bend head tail thing, yet? LOL...
  22. Sorry to burst your bubble logos... Taken from HLJ's site: How final shipping costs are calculated: The total weight of all items in your order is added to the weight of the box and packing material required for shipment (see below). Then we simply cross-reference the Japanese post office shipping charts and bill you accordingly for the weight and type of shipping you've requested. Again, some requests for SAL shipping may be shipped by EMS instead if the item is too large to go by SAL small packet, or if there are many items in the order and/or the order is particularly valuable (above 15,000 yen). http://hlj.com/hlj_shipping.html Even if you selected SAL they'll change it over and charge you for EMS when the item comes in. And the confirmation for the VF-22 doesn't apply/effect everyone, but just your order. I received my order confirmation two weeks (or so) ago when I placed it. I've ordered plenty of times from hlj in the past and this is their normal procedure.
  23. Argghh!!! Pic links died! However, I can imagine the speedy progress. Keep it up!
  24. Thanks! Still snug as a rug. LOL. The mod doesn't affect the part falling off at all. Aside the part being a pretty good fit from the beginning prior to the mod.
  25. If it's really limited... your best chances might be on ebay or some overpriced online shop. Honestly it would probably be the same exact thing as the YF-21, but just remolded/painted in a different color and the retooled respective parts (head, canopy, and bay attachments).
