I say go with a the knees in and the toes together; regardless of what's more stable/improves maneuverability the toes together provides a cleaner look and is overall more visually appealing. I think you should leave off the vertical tail as well. The whole beauty of the X-36 was it's tailless design, throwing a tail on their just spoils the look. for a plane that transforms into a Giant Robot, I think realistic aerodynamic considerations should take a back seat to visual appeal. but that's just me

I think those OST's are a BIG part part of why it's popular (I know the ONLY thing I like from Mac7 is the music). Most likely how popular the music is would dictate the success of Mac7 in the west, and I just don't see 90's J-pop going over well enough in the west to make a US release a success. coupled with the fact that the show is more than a decade old... (selling anything that isn't bright and flashy and pandering to kids these days is almost impossible.)

the VF-0D's wings fold up the same way as the 0A and 0S also I want PVC Female figurines. Misa in a bikini (better than the old arii one); and Ishtar (something form MacII I'd actually buy)

well the VF-22 which lacks the stand and Fast packs of the YF-21 is 3,000 yen less and it has some new tooling. a VFX-2 11 would probebly be about the same, I'd seriously consider getting one, the VFX2 scheme is so much better looking and I don't like the fast packs anyways. (course there's a LOT of Yamato coming out that might be more worth it)

um... the YF-19 is already in 1/60 scale. I'm actually now completely sold on the necessity of a VF-0D one MUST BE MADE!!! I'd also like a VF-3000 in 1/60, and a 1/60 v.2 Q-Rau, (more features, better articulation, nice looking articulated pilot, on par with the current Destroid line.

this may be the first time someone's reported a 1A with a broken shoulder out of the box, but their have been broken shoulders in every release excluding the 1D and max releases. if it's just a crack (as in less of a gap than pictured) then you could try applying a little super glue. no garenty it will hold but at least it will keep it together until you can get some spare parts.

that might be the case in the movie but practically, using gravity controls like that would be really impractical and potentially dangerous. even with SciFi alien technology, It's still going to be more complicated to maintain differently oriented pockets of gravity that work in limited areas and don't interfere with each other than it would be to maintain uniform gravity across the whole city. theirs also the problem of disorientation from changing orientation as you go from area to area of the city. but the biggest problem is that you need to run the gravity control system all the time. what do you do if you need to take the system off line for maintenance?

I think it would be easier to have sympathy for them if they had put some actual effort into the product in the first place.
