    I'm loving the bot mode, but I'm worried the alt mode will have nowhere to store the sword and shield except for smack on top of the roof. If it Can fit into the vehicle that will be great, if it can't... I'll be disappointed but still get it.

    The thing is Macross fans tend to have diverse interests and hobbies outside of Macross. several people on this board run good podcasts, but they're all general toy/movie/anime podcasts. Robotech fans on the other hand live in delusional worlds where Robotech is the be-all end-all of media franchises and all other forms of entertainment are either non-existent or irrelevant owing to there massive inferiority to the multi-generational epic that is ROBOTECH.

    Apparently there are a bunch of new VF-19 variants now thanks to the Master file book. You should ask Sketchley about it, since he's actually working on translating the book.

    I'm in the same boat as most people. If they came VF-25's that were as good as the current hi-metal's I'd pick up a couple. I'd like to have a VF-25 in scale with my other valks but I prefer a quality toy over an in-scale toy. If a DX-25 v.2 or a Yamato 1/60 VF-25 where to come out I'd be more inclined to get one of those but I don't see either of them happening within the next 5~10 years. If a hi-metal VF-25 comes out and prove to be the first GOOD* VF-25 toy, I'll be happy to pick one up. *Good TRANSFORMING VF-25 that is, the RD's where pretty good figures

    I love the twins. Everything about them is funny to me. My two favorite parts of RotF are prime brutally murdering people and every scene with the twins.

    One other thing to be aware of with flightpose stands is that if you over-tighten the screws that hold the whole thing together, you can end up cracking the acrylic disk that holds the arms in place. The difference between "not tight enough to hold up heavier Valks" and "tight enough to break the thing" is very little.

    You know what would really impress me? If Yamato where to design the missile bays in the legs such that there was space to put all of the extra parts like the face and neck/leg panels. If most or all of the spare parts/accessories can store on the toy instead of rattling around in a box somewhere, this will officially be the greatest toy ever.

    Now that's just mean. At least that thing was done by a fan out of love for a show; not an evil corporation trying to make a quick buck off gullible fanboys.

    It kind of sucks that it has small filler pieces, but what's important is that we're also getting leg missile launchers, landing gear, a gunpod that stows in fighter mode and hands that can form a fist all in the first run and without having to buy an overpriced web exclusive 2~3 months after the toy came out.

    The main wings are retracted (as we already knew they could do), and new wing extensions slipped over the main wing tips that are longer and have extra engines. And yes, I think they're engine pods. The have flat rear ends that look like nozzles and the tip is concave on the underside, just like the other mid wing engines turned on their side. Also they've got fins on them. This looks ridiculous.
