Hey Graham, I got a couple of pairs of off-white hinges back in 2010. Since then my VT-1 began showing cracks in their hinges. If possible, can I put in an order for 1 pair of cream colored hinges? I'll understand if I have to wait at the back of the list so first-timers could receive theirs first.

Looks like the poll worked! Really cool - finally we don't have to mix/match parts anymore. I wish they would just include both TV Roy and Hikaru pilots though. I guess its an incentive to pick up a Roy version to customize or something.

Just picked up my 2 boxes from the post office. Here's my breakdown of valkyries (not in the order I opened them): Box 1: VF-4 VF-1S Strike (Hikaru) VF-25F Super (Alto) VF-25S Messiah Deculture (Catherine) RVF-25 Super RVF-25 Deculture (Nanase) VF-1A Super (Max) VF-27 Lucifer Super Fold Booster (Brera) VF-25G Messiah Deculture (Klan) VF-1S TV Super - really cool! VF-25F Armored (Alto) VF-25F Super w/ Fold Booster (Alto) Wow - pretty good breakout so far, just like Horatio's box. No duplicates and 4 specials! Box 2: VF-25S Messiah Deculture (Catherine) VF-1S Strike (Roy) VF-1A Super (Max) VF-27 Lucifer Super Fold Booster (Brera) VF-25G Messiah Deculture (Klan) VF-1S Strike (Hikaru) VF-1S Super (Hikaru) VF-25G Super (Michael) VF-25F Alto Deculture (Ranka) VF-1A Super (Kakizaki) VF-4 VF-25F Super (Alto) So the 2nd box had a good distrubution, but for me, a lot of duplicates with Box 1. Decultures seem common. Hell, out of 2 boxes I didn't get a Tornado Super Pack! Great quality though, much more solid than the Charaworks versions.

I just got back from watching it and I enjoyed it a lot. The dialog was well written (especially the Colonel's). I thought it was a fun take on WWII. And since when is punking Nazi's not fun? Exactly - it always is

I missed the last Bay Area meetup; hopefully I can make this one. The 22nd is free for me (provided work doesn't call) and I can probably make it anywhere from San Francisco down to San Jose. I also just PM'd Save for the posters.

I just pre-ordered the VF-1D from overdrive which is the same price (w/o armor), and shipping to Cali came out to $33.40 I think that's for EMS as its similar to HLJ, but overall its cheaper b/c overdrive's list prices are less than HLJ's prices.

I've been playing a gray market unit for the last couple of weeks. Its hard getting used to the timing of the animations. Its still not as fast as 2D, but better than some other 3D fighters. I think the game is still unbalanced and needs some tweaking. If you're in California, head over to your local Cal State University arcades $0.75 per play though!
