Yeah the creators seem to be big fans of alot of pop material. Panthro looks like Jet Black from Cowboy Bebop, and Grune's fall was very reminiscent of Star wars. The music even had the same epic feel to it as well. I love this cartoon so far.

Man of Steel - Superman movie has a director
Golden Arms replied to Mr March's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yeah the suit looks like epic fail. The colors look way too dark. I don't mind that they got rid of his red shorts, but you need something in place to break up all of the blue. A colored belt or some colored pattern on his legs.- 442 replies

That guy should stick to Lego's. Seriously. Why did he feel the need to keep comparing it to the 1/100 toy? Two completely different toys by two different toy companies at two completely different price points. -

Great episode. I picked up the 6in. Lion O and Pantro. I really loved Grune's turn to the darkside. I wonder if there will be a backstory on Lynx-O.

I think Nolan could make most of Batman's rogues compelling. The riddler could've worked, and I think Deadshot would be cool as well. But both of these character's may have seemed too similar to ground that was covered with the Joker depiction.

I really like the Jim Balent and Jim Lee versions. I wasn't refering to a specific version of the character. Just a generalized version of her. Most versions of the character have her in a somewhat sexy outfit, which is appropriate when you think about who she is, and what she's aiming to do. Her sexuality or sensuality should show through in some form in regards to her costume. I think its what initially gives her the upper hand against most males. She should use it as a weapon, to momentarily distract her opponents.

Man of Steel - Superman movie has a director
Golden Arms replied to Mr March's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I concur. His film was too much of a tribute to the Donner films. He should've made the film his own, and explored new territory. If Lex is in this reboot, I hope they make him a scientific genius like in the comics. I'm tired of the bumbling criminal genius that we've gotten in all of the films.- 442 replies

The Hips are tight on the Takara version as well. I want the TRU version so I can finally transform this thing. I'm not brave enough to transform my takara version for fear of breaking the leg panels.

Man of Steel - Superman movie has a director

I thought Superman return's sucked as well. It was horribly cast, with a terrible plot and story. Routh looked like a young Reeves, but he brought nothing to the part. He was nothing more than a look alike. DC is currently rebooting all of their comics. I'm curious to see if this new version of superman will mirror DC's new superman or the J Michael Strazenski's take on the character.- 442 replies

I think we're all in agreement, that she needs the cleavage and ears. I also think her suit should be skintight.

I Have HA Jazz,Bumblbee,Jazz,Skids, Mudflap, Sideswipe and Barricade. My favorites Barricade and Jazz are tied, and Bumblee is a close second. I like Sideswipe the least like everyone else. He has way too much back kibble. Skids and Mudflap are actually great figs, it's just that the characters sucked, and they aren't cool cars. Bad ass images of the SDCC Starcream. I wish I couldv'e gotten that online.

Wharehouse 13 and alpahs are both pretty good shows. They are completely different, so if you like one you may or may not like the other. Wharehouse 13 not as serious of tone. It has a ton of allusions to scifi and pop culture. Which is a treat in itself. The premise is similar to the old Friday the 13th tv show. If you like Eureka, you will probably like wharehouse 13. Alphas is more serious, very similar to the X-men comics. They group has a mentor/teacher that helps the Alphas deal with their abilities. They also locate other alphas and help minimize the damages from the dangerous alphas.

They are stupid. They should've shown this back to back, or it should air tomorrow. I would've liked to have seen this a second time.
