True but an enterprising customizer might be able to bash together an F-20 out an F-5E and an F-18, I've seen it done in smaller scale with surprising accuracy. Also are there any pictures of the suppossed 1:18 F-5, I've looked but to no avail

I will have to find the picture, but I know had/have one that shows a Su-37 carrying 14 missiles. SO I'm assuming that the Su-35 can do the same. As for SDB one of the reasons it has such a strong "punch" is it's accuracy, more lethality on target and less energy wasteed on surrounding structures.

Depending on the model, up to 14 a2a missiles, plus the most accurate fighter mounted gun in the world.

IIRC there were some mods for starlancer that allowed you to add to the VF-1

Nice, what about the F-5, any pictures of any of these yet? If they do come out with the F-5 as promised I hope it is an F-5E, then I will paint it up in Area-88 colors. And if they are making a B-25 then there is no reason why they can't do an A-10

If I come I will bring my VF-1D custom, and if I can find it my flight helmet with the YF-19 painted on it, though last I saw it was in rough shape.

Interesting design, so the cockpit section and the middle third of the fighter, it appears becomes it own glaug type mecha, and it can connect to other craft. Interesting concept, will need to see how that works into the story.

thanks for the comments azrael, I've been looking around and so far the best price for the components I want is from Ibuypower, fry's has a nice looking deal too, but i need to see how much a full custom like what I want will cost from them first.

Ok some people will think I am nuts for this, but I wondering just how many of our members here have the plush Valkyrie doll that came out some time ago. More specifically I am wondering who has one that has taken some battle damage, and this is the reason why. IF someone has one that has been torn up a bit but is still mostly intact, would they consider fully disassembling it in order to figure out how to make patterns of it. Why you ask, so we can put the patterns out there to be reproduced. Why further, most of us are getting to be parents or at least to the parenting age and want to pass macross on to the next generation, and what better way then to start them off with their very own VF-1 dolls? So, does anyone have a willing donor?

You will never, except in extreme circumstances, see any foreign aircraft actually land on a US carrier. They can do touch and goes to their hearts content so long as the ship allows it but to actually trap, nope. The main reason for this is that unless it is an american built plane it probably does not use the same carrier launch hardware. The Rafale might, but earlier Dassault carrier birds used that launch strap instead of a launch bar and no carrier maintains them.

I actually wrote a short story about that once a long time ago, need to dig it up. Basically a freighter is just cruising along and gets hit by a projectile launched like 200 yrs before, or some other absurdly long time ago. I wrote it for a creative writing class in college, the teacher hated it, but my physics professor gave me extra credit for it because of how realistically it portrayed the incident.
