Well, you can just plug some control devices into the USB port right on the front of the PS2. I'm not sure about the X36. Maybe I'll try it with my X45, which is pretty much a slightly tweaked X36, sometime.

I pretty much never see movies anymore. I still haven't seen Kill Bill. The last movie I saw was like 12 bucks, Matrix Reloaded, but that's because it was the IMAX showing. At least I don't need to worry about parking, though. I live relatively close to Universal Studios, and as a community goodwill thing, or whatever, they send us passes for free parking.

Need Help choosing between this 2 Laptops
Commander McBride replied to Ladic's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I'd venture a guess that UPS should be OK, as long as you pack the PC securely. Dell seems to be able to ship PCs through UPS with no problems. On another note, HP is wierd. They make horrible computers, but yet, at the same time, they make the best PDAs, and pretty good printers, too. -
Need Help choosing between this 2 Laptops
Commander McBride replied to Ladic's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Don't buy an HP. My HP laptop has been nonstop trouble since I go tit. Not to mention the fact that I bought it from Best Buy, who took repeated service visits and over a year to make it work. -
I think you're full of it, even under zoom you cant see a fingerprint anywhere on that Ferrari, as for the BMW, theres a tire track leading to where it's parked (just look behind the right rear), and as for the Porshe, you cant get decals anywhere with those two stickers on the plate in front, plus that background is not fake, it's a real one. PLUS! here's the kicker! just look at where the images come from! the first one: http://www.ferrari.com/cmc_upload/1/610/74...ari_456_780.jpg the second one: http://www.bmw.com/generic/com/en/products...ad_z4_z4_08.jpg and the third one: http://www2.us.porsche.com/english/usa/911..._04_800_600.jpg so you know what you say to those? we call you a liar! so that means you're BUSTED!!! You want to know the real giveaway? It's the reflections. I don't care how good you are, it's just not possible to make models reflect prefectly like that, there's no paint that can achieve that effect at such a small scale. The license plates are also a major giveaway. The only way those details could be done is if the car was a huge scale model, a 1/8 or 1/6, something like that. Another giveaway is the shadows. Anyone who has experimented with lighting a model knows that shadows like that ae nearly impossible to achieve. So, unless these are insanely large-scale, i'm calling BS.

Personally, I'm much less shocked that you have these tapes than I am that you were able to play them....

Those are both copycat pics. the original had Kawamori's eyes shooting lasers, which bounced off a 1/60 box that someone was holding up, and obliterated a group of HG reps, if I remember correctly.

Happy Halloween Macrossworld! BOO!
Commander McBride replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Nothing really halloweenish for me. I may do nothing, or possibly, the local "lonely drivers club" (Initial D reference) is gonna get together and hang out, do car stuff. Our plan, if we do it, is to make a "costume" for one of our cars, by making a temporary cardboard "bodykit". -
Forget the CF. The Low Vis is the new CF.

Hell, I would! I love the design! And it's small, so it wouldn't be too expensive, either. Yamato could include a cool desktop display stand for it, too.

How you Californians handling the fire?
Commander McBride replied to Vinny's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Man, my dad works in Valencia. He saw not only smoke yesterday, but on the way home, he actually saw flames, creeping over the hill behind Magic Mountain. And he said the ash was falling like snow. -
MSiA Gundam Figures in the U.S.
Commander McBride replied to Yamato Lover's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Honestly, everyone noticed. You were the last one who didn't know. -
Hmm, I'm really not seeing the differences in the cockpit....

Man, why do it, though? Your mailbox would be flooded! -
How you Californians handling the fire?

Oh, yeah, amn, when I went to go put a note on my (totalled) car on friday, the sun was rising bright red. I kind of take it as an omen, not sure of what, though. What sucks, one of the guys on Drifting.com lost his shop to the fire. I don't know what he's gonna do now. -
I'm a young'un. 17. So, who's over 60?
-
That's where mods come in. Play Desert Combat, or Eve of Destruction. It's practically a whole other game.
-
Trust me, man, there's not really anything he can do. The only answer is to get out of there and put it far behind him, depressing though it may be.
-
Good luck, man. I know this kind of stuff sucks, I had to break up with two two friends just days ago because they turned out to be both doing and dealing. And it led to the loss of my own car. Here's hoping you fare better.

Bf1942 is a good game. With mods, it's the best there is right now. AA is cool, I played it for a while. I'm really into tactical shooters, well, I used to be. I was a Rouge Spear master. AA can't be beat for the price, that's for sure!

I like the idea of an anime chick dressed up like a legendary valkyrie, aiming towards the nose with a sniper rifle, with her hair being blown back.

Super 1J. Honestly, what did you expect us to say> THis is Macross World, after all!

I believe Gashapon relates to those small figurines you can get at slot machines in Japan(anybody correct me if I'm wrong). I got some Trigun gashapon about a year ago, and I think they are pretty well detailed for such a small figure(about 3" tall). vic. Gachapon refers to "capsule toys". The ones that come in a little plastic dome. The name, oddly enough, is supposed to be the noise the machine makes as you turn the crank and the capsule pops out.

How long have you been collecting non-stop?
Commander McBride replied to 91WhiskeyM6's topic in Toys
I've only really been collecting for a few years. I started collecting 1/6 action figs in, maybe, '97. But, I didn't really take it seriously, they were all opened, boxes thrown away, packed in big boxes, etc. I mostly used them for setting up outdoor dioramas. '99 is when I discovered Gundam models. And that's when I really started getting a lot of anime stuff. As a serious collector, keeping boxes, putting toys in display cases, etc, it's only been maybe a year, year and a half.
