  1. I'm still looking at those 1/48 Hasegawa missile sets sitting in a corner. I swear I'll get around to modding those.
  2. Toho surely scuttled those. Probably as a favor to Bandai.
  3. Again, if this were die-cast, it would be fun. I still think it may be depending on the build quality.
  4. @jenius Would love to see your Fugu Jetfire review too.
  5. The fact there's no paint loss, especially on the red areas, undermines the weathering for me. Applying a wash as dirt is fine, but seeing everything is an additional layer on top of the original paint application makes it boring to me.
  6. Yeah, I have the one V1 just to have an example. Occasionally, I look at another, but unless it was a dirt cheap bargain, I always pass.
  7. Can't disagree with that. Although it's BANDAI-NAMCO now. They ate Bluefin. Now, I have to say, I haven't had an issue until now with something at this scale since a SHMA Heisei King Ghidorah that had a neck that wouldn't stay on. At the time, Bluefin sent me a WHOLE NEW FIGURE for that issue alone (Go check the MSRP if you wanna see how much that cost; forget the aftermarket). I was stunned, and couldn't imagine a more generous resolution. It made me feel so safe in buying Bandai stuff there on out. Now, maybe when Bandai took over they scaled things back on how far they'd go to resolve things, I don't know. Maybe had the VT-1 been available domestically they would have done the same, but maybe not. I just know I don't feel the same faith in my Bandai purchases now.
  8. I'm sad to say that Bandai Spirits told me, in Japanese, that if you bought it from ANYONE but them directly, you're out of luck. The store is responsible. End of story. I'll have an update in time, but I still remain in the midst of dealing with my retailer over the same issue.
  9. I went with a standard set, but those look great, and make me want those too. 😄
  10. Well, I liked the "Behold!" Galvatron Unicon version that was transparent.
  11. So, 30 Weathered were available for the 3Z site, but how many will be available through retailers?
  12. Almost as if the late Tony Scott had directed a Macross film.
  13. VR would be a good one. I'd get that.
  14. Seriously, first thought was "Fugu did a Prime???" 😄
  15. Hmm, all transparent, all chrome, all gunmetal. Sounds cool!
  16. Always mean to place an order, and will one day, but right now I can't help but feel regret having not done so already for this opportunity. I do hope you produce more and that I'll be able to order a Limited UN Spacy one someday.

From your lips to Bandai's ears.
  18. Gosh, I hope so. The seeker mold, either Earth/Tetrajet, needed an update far more then Ironhide did.
  19. That's what I want to do as well.
  20. I'm not endorsing DD, but they at least have promo codes at times. DEEP10 for 10% off may work on this one (New customer accounts? Worth checking). Also DD is a retailer that makes the cut with cashback sites like Rakuten and RetailMeNot (3% back on purchases atm).
  21. I'll grab one at some point.
  22. I told you they are toys. I'm sure you'll find they printed "BRUSH YOUR TEETH" under the canopy as well.
  23. Back in stock at Deep Discount: https://www.deepdiscount.com/threezero-robotech-robo-dou-vf-1j-veritech-rick-hunter-figure/4895250807167
  24. I'm wondering if they can handle play like the Chunkys. These look like they may be able to take a tantrum or two.
  25. I'm waiting until I have one of these in-hand, but they look like they'd be fun to transform if there's enough die-cast, and quality plastic. From a toy perspective alone, these might scratch that Chunky Monkey itch that DX/Arcadia, etc. can't for being too screen-accurate.
