I'm surprised it lasted this long. The original xB was bought by everyone, including kids, since it was roomy inside and dead reliable. As a result, Toyota never got the demographic it really wanted, which was 20-26 year olds. Now, if you went into a Scion dealer, the goal was to get you in and out in your new car within an hour. Industry standard is four hours. That's the one thing I hope Toyota brings over from Scion, besides the cars.

Word is the 31 and 262 won't be out until fall, so if Bandai wants to make some easy money a YF-19 would be a quick and simple way to do so, without taking any resources away from Delta DX development.

Way too early to say. Their character designs are complicated enough to warrant some fleshing out. And if there's a way to make money, corporate types will use it. -

Agreed. After all, to learn all there is to know about Macross, just HOW many obscure texts/out of print magazines/Japanese-only books do you have to source? How many of those contradict each other?

Seeing as the Macross canon covers thousands of pages of reference material over 30 years, "literature" could refer to an archivist's/researcher's position. -
