    Designed by the guy who designed the Oberth class? Nacelles are very similar. Interesting to see that the Oberth was seen as a new design direction of Starfleet ships, although I must say I’m not too big a fan of this. Reminds me of a baby spoon.

    Love the Aventine, hate how Eaglemoss cheaped out on the paint apps for the warp nacelles and the absolutely lifeless deflector dish. So I painted up one nacelle to see if I could do something about that. The blue is dark; it’s what I had on hand and this is a proof-of-concept to see if it even looked better. I sourced some decals for the deflector from a guy on eBay; I’ll apply one when I muster the courage and report back. What do you all think?

    Excellent review, thanks Seto! Looks like this will be on my shelf in the near future. Are the laser designators on the wing gloves behind transparencies in this book? Since there’s so little coverage about Battroid and Gerwalk, do you suppose there will be a Volume 2 covering them? Makes sense that the 11 uses weapon systems from the VF-1; the systems were available, battle-tested, and above all cheap. Any stats for the gunpod, please? Thanks!
