Seems obvious Gamlin would follow in the footsteps of Max, most likely as a Captain of his own NMC. Gamlin never did seem very fashionable, though.

Interesting perspective that Gamlin (and Diamond Force and the rest of the M7 Valkyrie pilots) are a form of Zentraedi. I disagree, but it's interesting nonetheless. Gamlin has his own motivations, as your average VF-11C pilot would. If Basara didn't keep getting in Gamlin sights, Gamlin wouldn't get irritated. That Michael guy looks like he would punk A1, though.

I still have my bootlegs and just watched quite a few of the favorites last week (Battle at Lux, Kinryu's death ride, Operation Stargazer, Final Battle/last episode, and Fleet of the Strongest of the Women), but am still in process of downloading the remastered box. Then I'll apply the patches and be ready to catch up.

I definitely like the idea of a small, affordable scale. I want to see VF-11 through VF-22, in addition to VF-1. I also want enemy mecha (Regult, Glaug, Q-rau, and Nos-Ger at the minimum), as well as Destroids. I'm willing to forgive an atrocious sculpt, as well as parts-formers, to achieve that.

Not good enough for me to get one yet, though the Armored Ozma is most appealing to me.

I really wish they would just go ahead and do a PS3 1080p port of MUF, if not a native PS3 game. Hell, I'd be happy with a basic SDF:M era game like the one Max beat Milia at.

Yeah, Talon is pretty... cliche, but I've felt that about most Twi'leks since Aayla Secura.

I thought that could have been good, too. James Bond needs to do the same thing.

Kinryu is bad ass. I would love to have an optional and/or mail order pilot pack that had a bare chested Kinryu I could pop into one of the VF-11C I'm going to get.

The old bootleg 6-disc set I got had everything (Macross 7 Plus: Spiritia Dreaming, Top Gamlin, the commercial exit/return, Encore, etc), too. Just atrocious subtitles at points (Boxana, Myliu, Black Devil, etc).

Yeah, New Edwards would be more precise. IIRC Viper didn't really say the location at all, just the temperature.

I'm about half done with the torrent of the box. Then I'll start applying the patches. Does this include MD7, too, or just the regular M7 series? Am I reading it right that it's 16 discs??

Thanks! Ah the "Keep Clear" stickers were the main thing I was missing. Don't think I'll bother putting them on the side lights on the nose, but looks good behind the red sensor thing behind the head laser and between the cockpit and nose sensor.

Didn't say I think they should actually find it. Just be looking for it. The actual fate would remain a McGuffin and I'd prefer it ambiguous, if not just unknown (strange aliens say they came this way, etc. Run into more rogue Zendraedi fleets - kinda like another take of Fleet of the Strongest Women, etc) etc, etc. He could definitely fit in more like Viper role from Top-Gun. Even Isamu could mature eventually. Picture it: "Good morning, gentlemen, the temperature on New Eden is 110 degrees." CF#1: "Holy poo, it's Isamu!" CF#2: "Isamu's up here, great... oh poo..."

What is with the plain white circle sticker (#51) in place of the UN Spacy / Japan Kite? Noticed one of those with my Gamlin VF-22, as well.

Wow, that looks pretty good. Think I'm gonna have to do this on my Gamlin. What did you do for a sticker guide? I see a couple that aren't listed in the Yamato manual (the ones on the nose or in the yellow stripe behind the UN Spacy Kite) that I've also seen on models... Hase instructions?

Haven't picked up any v2 1/60 VF-1 yet. Maybe the Virgin Road. My inclination would be a Focker or Hikaru 1S, but don't want one that's gonna break. Any of these clear? Now that I have my favorite 1/60, the Gamlin VF-22S, what I want most at this point, is a Regult, Followed by a Low-Viz VF-22, VF-19A. After that, I distantly hope for a Yamato VF-17D and VF-19S.

I want two khaki / weathered Tomahawks. Never much cared for the other Destroids, though. Besides the Tomahawk, my favorite is the Phalanx II from Macross II.

Indeed... the two YF-19's didn't appeal to me, but I will buy a low-viz VF-19AFP. For that matter, do an F-22 Raptor camo scheme low viz VF-22S with the gold canopy from the Max and Milia.... VF-22S "Have Glass"

Guess I'm glad I've never been a collector. I buy what I really like and skip everything else. I would kinda like to get one of the v2 1/60... maybe a Roy since my v1 is wrapped up in the GBP but the problem/shoulder issues have kept me away. I would like a darker CF... but then it would make my pilotless v1's look a bit out of place... same with the CF-1J. Wow, I love my YF-21. Love every mode of the design, Gerwalk, Battroid but probably the biggest fan of fighter. The T-bar chipped/cracked on one of the ends, probably when I was mangling it during the first transformation, but not enough to impugn my ability to transform, which I have down to a T now (and am able to flawless transform my Gamlin VF-22, which is probably my single most favorite valk right now).
