I really hope we see some of the accessories like the Radome and perhaps Foldildo packaged together for VF-11C. The GBP is also, obviously highly desired for a Kinryu death ride.

True, not alot of variation (though at least 4 or 5 colors are easy!), but the mold isn't nearly as complicated as a transforming valkyrie... or even something relatively simple like a Destroit (or Regult!)

I love my Action Fleet TIE Defender. I would buy another one, especially a sharper/more detailed/accurate sculpt in a heartbeat. I saw DS2 luke at Frank & Sons recently. Didn't buy it, though thinking I should have. Maybe this weekend. Looks pretty good. The "box" for the changable flap isn't as annoying as it looks in pictures. I still wish they had just done a running variant... I never much cared for flap open, myself.

I've been meaning to get First Contact. I've had the 2009 Star Trek on my computer and cell phone for probably 2 or 3 months. Not sure if I'll buy the BD...

I've used HLJ several times and no complaints. Haven't used over-drive

Love the gold canopies. I prefer the Gamlin scheme, but probably won't be able to resist Max. Any chance they've fixed the rear landing gear with a detent/ratchet so they stay OPEN if you try to 'taxi' backwards?

Metal Siren followed by VF-2SS followed by VF-19F/S/Kai followed by VF-17D/S/Kai.

That should be their next reissue. A greyish/low-viz type color schema of each model that are designed to have interchangable arms. Stickers could include some a new set of unit markings.

Definitely prefer the VF-11C to the VF-11B. Haven't bought a B yet, but may get 1 of each.

Did they change anything on the Wedge? I have the Red Leader and the only improvement I'd really want is them to fix the sag on the lower s-foils

I picked up all the figs to make my HK-47 at Frank & Sons.

Heh. I remember trying to get into 6, I would get something a silver and 2 bronzes and only went from 95 to 96% on level 5. Then I got 2 more golds (IIRC finished Uncharted the first time through) and went to 99%

definitely more of a Voyager without the treknobabble vibe

I thought the one guy was Kevin Sorbo for awhile

Wow, that looks incredible. $230 definitely induces some... trepidation, though. What is the qualify of these like? Will it hover around MSRP? How long before it's sold out/out of stock, etc? -
I like Predator 2, though obviously not as much as the original. They shoulda brought Dutch back for a sequel. I've always been a bit annoyed at the Colonial Marines in Aliens. Those guys were way too undisciplined to be Marines... regular Army or National Guard I could buy... Unprofessional, too... why would they not figure out their appropriate weapons before hand? That should have been a basic premise of the mission planning. One would think they would have to have weapons suitable for fighting on ship in space (not punching holes in the hull is important!) and have the appropriate ammunition for it - no need for a completely different weapons issue. Of course, it shows the Cameron and Oliver Stone incomplete understanding of military professionalism, but they either sent the dregs of the Colonial Marines on that mission (with a wet behind the ears boot lieutenant at that) or it was a mission meant to fail by sending an understaffed incompetant undisciplined bottom 10%. I like Alien 3, too... We all know how Fincher wasn't really driving the bus on that, but even so, there's much good stuff in there. I prefer the dog alien to the cow or whatever it was supposed to be, too.

Technology that you have bought that went nowhere...

SegaCD. I remember being in awe of the CD-quality sound. -
New patch that adds trophies to PS3 and the Hoth Levels and what not is live.

WTF!! A new Battlestar Galactica film is in the works??!&

Hopefully they'll have Dirk Benedict as the REAL Starbuck again. -
I don't really care for a slimmer form factor or the power savings really lol waste, though if they come out with a satin silver slim I may have to consider it. I decided to buy a Drake's Fortune bundle rather than the Slim. $399 was a good price for Drake's and PAIN, neither of which I had yet. Coupled with teh Force Unleashed patch that added trophies and the Hoth levels, I'm going to be on my PS3 alot. Hopefully I'll get my 60GB back soon so I can pop my 320 back in there and have my PS2 BC and SACD.

Not so sure about the box on his chest (which they did so they could do both flap open and flap closed). Think I would have preferred a variant (I only really like flap closed I suppose). Still, probably the best DS2 duel Luke yet. Which isn't saying much considering the other attempts were pretty miserable.

my launch PS3 ate the YLOD while my xenon 360 pro is still going... mostly because I never turn it on anymore, though. I think that ultimately, the 360 is junk hardware. If it's not the RROD, it's the E36 or the DVD drive or x, y, or z, etc. Some QC issues are to be expected for everyone and some amount of PS3's also experience BD-ROM failure and the like. I don't think PS3 hardware failure is within an order of magnitude of the 360's, though.

Or if Sega had been able to do Sega CD well. 32X was a decent idea to extend the life of the system, but was erratically supported and then dropped for the poor suckers who invested. A sega fan ate it 3 times in quick succession, which destroyed the ground Sega gained with Genesis in the US> All of these relatively good ideas (Sega CD and 32X and Saturn) died due to their horrible launches and lack of support. That they were done in immediate sequence was the final nail in the coffin I didn't know that Sega Japan was the cause, though. Is there any sources or further elucidation available on that? Sounds like an interesting read, for sure.
