    I keep hoping CMs will revisit their design with improvement to their Legioss (locking arms with slots for the fins) and Tread molds with a better connecting arm that locks to the Legioss as well as it does to the Tread (I think it just needs modification to the front with an upgrade part cradle analogy).

    Again, it should be noted that the Yen prices haven't gone up THAT much. It's the exchange rate that took most of the valks from $200'ish to $300'ish. They still have a nice markup as these clearances show, but just sayin'

    Funny I pulled my FP off the shelf the other day and was pleasantly surprised with it. Never was that fond of the gullet or the lack of locks but still a great Yammie

    I find myself hoping for Hasbro/Takara to revist some of the other MP molds like Grimlock again, seeing how I missed him. Rodimus would be nice, too. The idea that I could see 3 or 4 different masterpieces on the shelf side by side would be nice, too, though I guess they're sticking with the 1-2 separately every year thing?

    Watching the Batmobile doc again makes me think the Tumbler needed a few Burton-style fins/wings on it in addition to a black paint job. My favorite is still the Batman Forever Batmobile, though (minus the blue neon, anyway).

    They included a DVD. That's all I need to make my own digital copy with Handbrake for my iDevices and Androids (streaming is for the birds).

    Yeah, I only want the single Autobot logo on Prime anyway and am mostly lthinking of the trailer ones, though the license plates and detail look great. Detailing Roller is also nice.

    Blu-ray is beautiful. Great PQ. As far as Bane, I liked it "before" better than after the ADR: Love the character, even if I think they should have still used Venom in some way to explain. Still a bit annoyed that Bruce didn't learn a damned thing and arguably shouldn't have won the second fight since he was still older/broken. Would have been better to have Bane beating him again and then Catwoman blasts him with the Bat-pod cannon.

    I'm still a bit miffed MP-10 doesn't have Desert Dog Formulas... Though definitely glad it has rubber tires.

    Sounds like the first one is going to have a fairly extensive flashback with casted roles for Azog, Thror, and Thrain. Without going to into pure inventions like the Evangeline Lily character or the idea/rumor(?). Course, then there are the rumors that Azog is ressurected by the Necromancer.

    Had the Blu-ray in my hand when I went to lunch today. Then put it back. I probably won't last past Friday lol.

    Right, gamepad has it's own brick and power cable regardless. I have been using the charging cradle a bunch and like it but don't really get the point of the regular non-charging stand.

    Deluxe also Includes the charging cradle and stand for the gamepad is the main difference, which is a $20 accessory in addition to the $50 game or so. Nintendo will also have their Digital Deluxe Promotion (ddp.nintendo.com) which is supposedly 10% back on online purchases (through eShop I'm guessing). NSMBU is pretty cool but if you have the New Super Mario Bros Wii it's pretty much the same thing except HD graphics and slightly different power ups (winged squirrel suit instead of the helicopter hat, etc) and levels unless you have an extra person using the Gamepad for Boost Mode (which is pretty fun. My friend, kid, and I were playing and wife was using the gampead to boost us). I haven't been using my 360 much the last couple years at all. My 360 was actually still a Xenon so I was afraid it was going to fail sooner or later which discouraged me from using it further. I kept my HDD since it wasn't worth anything and I may want to transfer my stuff to either a 360S or a 720 if/when it comes out. Had to go to three separate gamestops to find a black Wiimote Plus, but for that reason went ahead with the trade.

    I've been wanting the TFC Hercules more and more... but yikes that's expensive. Wonder if I should buy it in pieces to absorb the cost over 6 months or so. Looking at the faceoff with the Maketoys Giant, makes me like some of each especially the detents/joints on the Giant.

    Thinking of trading in my 360 to Gamestop and picking up ZombiU and another Wiimote Plus and nunchuck, probably black to match my deluxe Wii U. Thoughts?

    That Megatron works pretty good. I like the idea of a more conventional era Galvatron predecessor artillery piece but they seem determined to make him a tank. If/when there's another Masterpiece, hard to see it being anything other than a P38 which means probably no Hasbro version... unless perhaps it's a triple changer. Got my Hasbro MP10 in. I appreciate the new design, but am a bit... disappointed. Not by the smaller size or even the colors/paint as I feared (though I do like the fire truck red and deeper blues more than the G1 cartoon colors, it's far more minor), but more by the lack of the detail gimmicks I love so much in 20th Anniversary Prime/Takara MP1. I can definitely live with the lighter weight and minimal use of diecast and like the simpler transformation much better as well as how much tighter and better proportioned both the robot and truck forms are in the MP10, but it's missing the premium fine detail quality that the MP1 design evoked. I love the hell out of the moving mouthplate for some reason and don't see any reason that couldn't have been brought over. Definitely appreciate the neck/head more otherwise... except for the eyes. While I like the Hasbro painted eyes better than the Takaras they should have used that metallic gloss eyes paint from the 20th Anniversary. I miss the hydraulic joints and working suspension and I miss Formula Desert Dogs! I like the new matrix chamber and metallic matrix more though do miss the light up feature (though not as much it's pull apart. I love the trailer, of course, and Roller and it's various options. I am happy there's no gimped smokestacks, too. I think my dream Masterpiece Optimus would stay the same size of the MP10 with the same small amount of die cast, be in MP1/Takara paint scheme without battle damage (perhaps some optional removable panels ala Hot Toys). Would have full articulated individual fingers and thumbs like the MP1 but retain the grip tabs from the MP10 and perhaps have some sort of lock for the thumb. Would keep the simpler transformation and non moving matrix chamber from the MP10 but have an LED in there and the switch on the back pack under the Ion Blaster storage (which would definitely be retained from MP10... with the exception of the green insert back in the barrel! Wrist communicators can probably stay gone though they seem easy enough to incorporate or not. Moving mouth plate with a neck base plate that secures that locks. Leg Transformation still from the MP10 though the wheel covers should overlap to act as a lock on the bottom in truck mode and should retain a moving lock on the top to join up in the center of the trailer hitch (which would click/lock in with the straight tabs as guides). And put the color inserts in the toes/heels/tail lights. LEDs could be nice but not absolutely required.

    AFAIK the issue is limited to the fats. I used to play mine all the time for marathon sessions and still do with my Slim and so far, anyway, the Slim has lasted longer than the Fatty.

    It's supposed to do it with notifications, but I haven't seen it once.

    Yeah my 60GB ate the YLOD many moons ago. I did the heat gun trick and got a couple weeks out of it. No DIY solution is going to be permanent. Reballing seems the only actual permanent "repair" and is not cheap. I still intend to send my original to Endless Electronics, who has a good rep on the reballing.

    I am being a bit facetious but I think everyone needs some humility instead of being coddled. Everyone has issues they're embarrassed of and being teased about it is a necessity. As in anything, some fools will take things too far but the whole bullying business is way overblown and I fully agree with A1's general sentiment, if not it's tact (or lack thereof). Getting past shame and accepting and learning from our failings is an important part of the maturation process just like being able to dish it out and take it.

    Is it me or does the ring around the home button on the Gamepad never light up? I had several notifications but nada dark. Don't see a setting for it, either...

    I always remember him from Mississippi Burning and Cliffhanger and want to hate his guts. But it means he is a pretty damned good actor, even if he's mostly a one trick pony.

    Most of the bigger third party US sites (IGN, etc). It does seem the Nintendo sites and/or owners (eShop, etc) are much more positive, almost exclusively so though it's possibly it's a bit of tribalism, there. Seems to me that most of the negative reviews are misinterpreting the intent of the game (survival, horror) instead of the FPS/shooter. This will never be better than BF3 and/or COD at that... but it's not meant to be and the more I'm looking the higher up on my list this is going. At this rate, I'll be lucky if I make it to the end of the week without buying it.

    I'd consider another Megatron scaled to match MP10 and with better legs and proportions (IOW more like a Toyworld Hegemon) since I don't think we'll ever get a domestic release of something like that. I might not be able to resist a Galvatron and/or Skyfire if it wasn't insanely priced, either.
