Definitely hoping a more affordable VF-11C and VF-4G get issued at some point but I still wouldn't pay their MSRP much less the inflated prices.

Yeah noticed that myself. About to pull the trigger on what will probably be my final Yamato order, though hoping Arcadia will reissue what I decide to pass on.

Probably Takara before Tomy. Hasbro could have had a chance to buy out HG... But Yamato was a wonderful company I'll always be fond of, even if it was gray market.

Only to be sold. You're not required to keep it on there. Some people put on fake suppressors, etc too. And you can, of course, paint the muzzle device on a real weapon with an orange tip if you'd like, too. So is the consensus that HKC still has that much stock? I hope it lasts until payday. The next couple paydays?

More seriously, even assuming someone buys the molds, they probably won't crank them out as immediately as anyone would like so there would have to at least be a short term scarcity. Ideal scenario a third party acquires them and can get some international licensing behind them. Can't imagine the Yamato used Chinese factories will remain idle while they wait for the transition. That would have to mean a loss of experience even if the skills themselves aren't perishable and that quality will probably go down, though the quality of the designs themselves could mitigate to that some degree. I wonder if during the interim the factory and/or workers/elements in it would take the opportunity to create some quality-bootlegs with official molds and/or unpainted kits, on short runs. By the time the ownership is sorted out, it would be history.

Seems like they'll have Andrea do what Michonne did in the comic. Or she may just kill him to abbreviate it. I won't at all be surprised to see the Governor in season 4, though.

Yack, HLJ is wiped out. Top 4 on my Yamato Bucket List: 1) VF-17D without super pack - sold out or atrocious pricing 2) VF-19P - pretty hard to find only one or two places and/or really expensive. 3) VF-17S - looks pretty easy still in stock a couple places and on evilbay. Relatively low prices make me think it might disappear first, though. 4) VF-19S - same as VF-17S I want to get a couple more of those unpainted kits, too for some hypothetical teams/squadrons.

Ah that would be awesome. The ultimate would be Hasbro buying the whole shebang (international distribution from HG? Importing the shows and merchandising them price in the Transformers range). $60-70 for a VF-1, $100-120 for a VF-19, $120-150 for a VF-17.

Number one desire would be for the intake covers to be integrated in, sort of like the heat shield. I'd also like to see a hinged nose cone (sort of like the Masterpiece Seekers) and movable flaps again. Better folding side panels to emulate the option parts.
