  1. True even seams and details on 1/35 scale sometimes get covered Yup just look at my 1/55 Miria took ages trying to get the colour straight and that was just from two different manufacturers primer that I used. Had to rescribe the hell outta that one Even Hobby Japan magazines bitched about that one I have had to glue at least one part on all my Gundams and none of those were boots. but thats part of the fun IMO. If I wanted something that just went together the same as everyone elses I'd buy Lego and paint that. I for one will build them fixed the same way I have always made the Variable kits, sand fill sand fill sand etc Hoo yah!! bring that baby on Hope so this will undoubtably spur Hasegawa to explore more avenues themselves, and thus make it a better world for everyone. Let the Macross Model war begin.
  2. spose so they are old skool and not made anymore

  5. Love it. I have always liked the factory kit from the 80's but mine is long gone and way too small anyhow. I will now definately be building some factory esque walls for my display cases for some of my kits. ;O My GF thinks that all my models are toys anyhow so a few walls wont hurt.
  6. I thought that too.. technology eh.... it never stands still.... I remember the days when you had to look out the window to find your enemy.

  13. Ohh !! Shiney goodness looks like new and still has the pricetag on. Oh I remember the days that these babies could be bought for £25 in my local toy shop. shame I never had the money in the 80's to get one. Curses for only having a paper route for a job.

  15. Got my first stuff in 1984 Although I knew it as Robotech at first until I worked out that Macross was robotech and the Japanese made better cartoons than the U.S. then in 97-98 I revisited it for a bit when I got my Jetfire out of storage and a few surviving Macross model kits out too. then in 99 I got DYRL on DVDCD and then the internet helped at work filling the dark boring night shifts (thanks IBM) with Macross goodies. Next the fire was fully re-ignighted when I got Plus from America. Now several years on .... I just dont buy everything as I dont have the room anymore, I just get the things I cant do with out
