May be just may be Hasegawa will sneak out a GBP and VF-11 for the Anniversary. I hope so as the only real purpose the endless repaints make is giving us more stock to get for future builds when they eventually stop making them, and stocks get scarce, as mentioned above.

I would recommend a mask or at least doing outside. I use the Dremel with cutting disk ( looks like mini circular saw blades) and my trusty exacto saw. Filler I have always used Tamiya or MR but you can use auto filler too.

Nice the VF1 is more detailed that I thought it would be. I just thought they were Yamato sized Hasegawas.

At least with Zero onwards there are acurate drawings for the makers to go by so we should see better kits and toys from that era onward.

LOL me too. I can remember blowing my weeks wages on one kit with my sponsors+staff discount it was cheap but I got the price back up by buying all the hop up parts for that car. Ahh those were the days. Great progress though unlike my project cant belive we have both been at so long now.

Yeah I know someone who does that you only pay for the air inside the tanks. It like a giant version of the air cans that Badger and others sell for about $10/£10. works out cheaper if you can get a supplier.
