Yeah Joons are the best of the KO's by far.

    JOON'S...HA!

WOW bargain only $750, I`ll get two.
  6. Looks like Yamato may have a new cash cow to milk.
  7. Bittorrent here i come. Nanotech is the techie equivalent of genetic engineered that Hollywood is in love with. Every re-image has G.E in it if it cant be explained by nanotech or computers with big harddrives.
  8. Proof you don't need the stealth packs, just make your own
  9. Ive tried it mostly on Chunkys and even the cheap ass $5 ones come out the otherside ok. It really only effects the oil base in the paint. it just softens the paint in the same way it softens the grease and gunk in your oven. The only reason it works well on the model paint is because its like the grease it sits on top of the plastic surface and doesnt penitrate the plastic/metal underneath, etching primer would be a differnet matter. I can underatand everyones aprehensiveness over this though. I have used it on UPVC window frames and my turbo oven for years and have had no effects to the various plastics etc. The only stripper you should be worried about is anything that is solvent based oven foam cleaner and brakefluid are not. Not sure whats in Pine Sol as i cant get it in the U.K but as others are more than happy both here and in othe rforums then it's safe to say its ok.
  10. VERY NICE!! Love your work as always, watch out HWR your modeling machine title may be up for grabs
  11. Now not a good time to say how much I payed for mine, could have bought another at the same time for the same price. Great to see them though boxed is best
  12. ditto
  13. Gerwalk would require not a lot of work and only a tiny bit of custom making to compliment the parts (like hands) Battroid would require a bit more and several as sacrificial for each one. Im sure someone will/has somewhere.

    Almost Done!!

That scheme works so well on the 19.
  15. Nice, esp the head paint job. great work.
  16. I know but, I have a set from the Hasegawa kit. Bought it on ebay a year or so ago, guy said he didnt need it as he was doing a custom. Only cost me $5 or so. I will probably just get the kit because i can and its there etc. eaither way I'll end up with both versions of the MGuard
  17. Although I have the crazy modeler graphics and a set of the decals for this kit I may well just get one anyhow. But it raises the question how limited is limited.

  19. It's always good to see 1/55 love, shame they never made one for "real"
  20. Used to work with Cyanid and it is nasty. In the same way you can get alergic to it you can also build up a tolerance for it too. We had really good room vents that scrubbed the air and masks for emergency use that scrubbed out nearly all airbourne nasties. Some once could fart right next to you and while wearing the mask you'd not smell it, thats how good the masks were.
  21. Talk in the UK says it will be. They are already saying the BAFTAs will be the award show of the year.

    1/55 angel bird? ko

LOL Maybe mine just a good one. As far as KO's go thought they are the best.

    1/55 angel bird? ko

There were some very good KO`s the Joons in particular were almost as good as the Taka/Bandai ones. The plastic ones you mentioned are the lowest of the low but are very cheap and great for customs as the paint well and you can fill and sand them easily etc.
