  1. Too many factors and there is still no definite study on all of this. My take is enjoy your toys more, worry less. If your toys get yellow, so what? It’s a color. Now it’s a new color and you get to enjoy the toy all over again as a different color variant.
  2. I'm going to say the differences come from brand of bulbs, color temperature and overall specs and quality of them. In order to get better data, you'd want to make as many of those factors equal as possible.
  3. This thread was originally posted in the Toy forum: Who Can Guess What This Is/What It Does? That thread was moved but ever since it was moved the links at the bottom of the threads in the Toy forum always show "NEXT UNREAD TOPIC" as available but when you click it and you've already read all the other actual unread threads, this shows up: Sorry, there is a problem There are no unread content items. Error code: 2S136/J Can this be fixed so that the 'NEXT UNREAD TOPIC" link goes away like it used to? Thank you! Edit: Also a related issue is the Toy forum constantly has the "NEW" tag, indicating there is a new post even when there isn't seemingly because of the moved thread.
  4. This is getting complicated lol! My bottle of Future will last the rest my life and toothpicks and cotton swabs work great as applicators. Good to know there are other options if I never bought the future.
  5. That’s good to know! I swear by that stuff for all my cars. I’ve always thought about getting it for my home too but I just don’t feel like dealing with it (including hiring someone to do it). I suppose home windows are much easier to install than car but still, I gots too much on the plate already. I’ll consider it if I ever get my display room cleared out but I can also just put up some blackout curtains easier or cover with some art since I don’t ever plan on opening the windows for anything.
  6. It’s the Matchbox Top Gun Aircraft Carrier. About 3-4” bottom to top deck and maybe 1.5-2’ long when extended.
  7. crap man, everyone has Baroness multiples and I ain’t got one. Boo hoo!
  8. Is your copy really good or does it suck? Haha, it seems like all of them have been pretty good as far as I've heard.
  9. Got a bunch of other packages today...so many my wife asked if it was my Christmas today. Some of the stuff I got was more realistic weapons to use with my Joe figures. Just built and test fitted one: I'm really happy with it!
  10. Oh, and lookee what I just found outside! This is the first time I’ve seen these Arcadia shipper boxes for their exclusives. Are they taking a page from Bandai and their TWE releases? Also noticed the C/NO on the side. Anyone else get this and notice any differences based on the number? Anyways, looking forward to opening this beauty.
  11. Great points! I'm good with or without extra details but I do see the value in it. I mean honestly, how many hours does it take to customize something at that level AND give it the extra attention to detail to live up to a one off custom? I'm sure the time it takes is worth more than the entire price of the PF Valk and much more, not even counting the base Valk itself.
  12. Great life advice here! I also always love hearing about Car Performance developments.
  13. Oh wow! You went in on that 1/24 model huh? I look forward to seeing that!
  14. Same DX VF-1 hands I think would work perfectly since they are about the same size. I guess a quick test to see how the VF-0 gunpod fits in the DX hands would be a smart move first.
  15. Yeah, I totally get it and have utmost respect to those like you who have the talent, ability and lack the OCD of not wanting to alter their toys like I have to do these custom jobs. So basically, I love seeing stuff like that but I rarely display my Valks with landing gears out so I don't need to worry about it.
  16. Haha, don't take that any way other than I couldn't think of a better word to use when I was inspired by this: Your work is beautiful and if my Valks came looking the way you make them, I'd be impressed, most impressed.
  17. Fantastic development @sqidd! I'll be interested when you get these rolling because I have no plans of getting rid of my 1/48 Yamatos (in fact, I will probably end up buying more). Only thing is the colors won't work for many of them. Would you be interested in developing something similar for the Arcadia VF-0s? I think that is one Valk that could use this more than any other as the hands are the only thing I can think of as a negative mark on those figures. An improvement there would definitely make those toys complete perfection.
  18. It does look nice but I prefer to not display my Valks just standing by. Landing gears don't concern me. I want action figures, not statues.
  19. Different color temps have their purpose. I’d keep the 2700k for places like the living room and bedrooms.
  20. The entire sheet is for Max
  21. WTF?! At least it isn’t as bad as those CW F-14 boxes in that thread.
  22. Ah, simple yet effective. Nice job!
