  1. Nice Mazinger additions @sqidd
  2. It's a bit ironic that the recent convo started with a post about a great deal and how the prices seem to be going down on these and now it turns into the prices are climbing? I haven't really researched pricing on these much other than I bit when the Angel Bird and CF were announced. I still stick to not wanting to pay more than $100 for a KO VF-1 with S/SP, PF or not.
  3. Haha, nice! I checked my attic out recently to see if it would be good to store things. Besides being pretty hard to acces, it was like a suana in there so I opted out. I don't even want to store empty boxes up there let alone ever go back up there again if I don't have to,
  4. I'm getting real tired of people trying to confirm colors over inconsistently calibrated monitors, lighting, photos, etc., etc...
  5. Yeah, those kill marks are pointless to me for the main characters. They would run out of room after one battle, especially Max.
  6. Haha, it's not too bad and they have great deals on KO and 3P stuff. They are my go to spot for KOs and 3P actually. I always try to buy as close to the source as possible.
  7. They are going to make I guess is more accurate unless someone knows different and got theirs already...
  8. Got Beach Head and gave him some proper weapons. He thinks this one suits him best:
  9. Yeah, definitely a good price for what you are getting. I have to problem with KOs but just don't feel like paying more than $100 for any. I'm still waiting for my CF and Angel Bird KOs to arrive.
  10. That's getting close to my buy limit price.
  11. Haha, nice! That probably wouldn’t even be that hard to do.
  12. Jeez! You have a walk in freezer you are storing your stuff in?
  13. Haha yeah. I have no idea wtf I’m going to do with it yet so I’m leaving it in the box for now.
  14. The Castle Grayskull? Yeah, it’s pretty sweet. Better than the main toy sets imo. Ironically, it’s the biggest building block set I’ve ever opened and put together and it’s not even “LEGO”. I do have a bunch of even bigger LEGO sets that have been sitting around in storage though. Edit: I take that back about “a bunch of even bigger LEGO sets”. I just checked and most LEGO sets I have still have lower parts count. Grayskull does include a lot of tiny bricks for the tops and some side parts but the only LEGO set I have that clearly surpasses it in parts count is the UCS MF.
  15. OK cool! I guess I usually look at it from a different angle. My latest purchase: a glass cabinet to display the family “LEGO” builds.
  16. This.
  17. Where is that destroyed Sentinel from? Looks kinda like the old Toy Biz base that came with Megneto but not quite the same.
  18. Excellent choice!
  19. NY! And still at original non-scalper price.
  20. Tube amp huh? Nice?
  21. Another example of way too many factors at play...Who knows? Maybe the sweat of a worker got mixed in with only the plastic that went into that lower left gear door and changed the properties of how the color changed? Not worth the time to figure out to me but again, I'd love to see someone come up with a definitive answer to all this.
  22. Haha, cool! Was that one of the Beatles that saved it?
  23. Yeah, I just don’t get what the big deal is. Turn up the yellows on your tv next time you watch Macross...there you go, now you have a screen accurate Valk again! Oh wait...most the toy Valks were never screen accurate colors to begin with. Throw them all out!....onto my doorstep.
  24. Do it! I’d love to see the definitive answer.
  25. Solving problems is great, I agree! The thing is, this is an issue that after decades of people collecting toys, there is no answer. There are simply too many factors.
