A very merry Mandalore day to me!

I think the front windshield thing is mostly illegal but the specific film Llumar and other companies make for the windshield is basically unnoticeable, especially if you have a good install. I've been pulled over more times than I care to mention and even got hit with having tint on the side windows once but the cops have never noticed or mentioned windshield tint that was always on my car. I don't like very dark tint so most of my cars are tinted with very light film (50% or more) but the tech is so good on them that they do the intended job for me which is blocking UV and mainly HEAT! Llumar's windshield tint is I think 80% light transmission and the advertised specs (which seem to match tested specs in many cases) show that it blocks more heat than darker films from lesser companies.

Yeah, for the windows. There’s also specific windshield film that lets through most the light (70-80%) but also has similar heat blocking properties. The main point is these films seem to protect me and my car interiors very well and I’ve recommended them to people to put on their home windows for the same reason. I have an older car without the tint and old paper that I leave in there gets crusty and yellowed. My other cars with tint preserve everything inside like they are unaffected at all.

Yeah, I get ceramic tint mostly for the heat blocking and again, my non scientific tests have shown that my car is much cooler than cars parked in the same area with regular tint. I just looked up some specs and the films say they block Wavelengths 300-380nm which is most of the UV-A that isn't covered by the glass alone.

Yeah...but the film should block the same %. Either way, I know the film works very well but just curious about the numbers since @sqidd actually went and got a meter for it.

I'm curious about your UV meter tests. The ceramic based films I buy for my cars mostly claim over 99% UV protection and I wonder how accurate that is. I know from my less scientific tests that my cars stay WAY cooler than other cars parked in the same area and if my windows are rolled up, I never get any sign of sunburn or tan on my arm but if the windows are down, I can feel my skin start to burn almost immediately.

Man, I love those things! At least the official/original version but I doubt that was much better than any of the copies or KOs like the one you got. Not a great quality toy but so much fun for a little kid back in the day because it still transforms and is small and light enough to take anywhere. Imagination does the rest!

Nice! I don't really play any instruments anymore (or ever, since I was a kid) but definitely have appreciation for musical talent. I can't really contribute much there as musical instruments is one thing I don't have a vast collection of. Unless you want me to share my kid's music toys or my vintage Yamaha keyboard, lol.

Yeah, it’s definitely fun times. I took my kid to a couple shows early on but started worrying about their ears and haven’t been much since. I think I was able to get out on my own like once or twice.

Seriously though. The Fighter mode is a work of art and worth it for that alone. I haven’t decided if I will get the PF as well or not yet but I have a regular ordered. My friends that know Macross and transforming toys very well see it and ask if it actually transforms.

Snake Eyes is one of my top two all time characters as far as how many figures I collect. I wasn’t too impressed with these Classified figure reveals because of the styles they went with but as soon as I saw the package and opened it, this figure has won me over. I’m still not going to get some of the other figures but this is the best Snake Eyes figure ever made by far and I’m pretty happy with it. It just took over top shelf in the one display I have set up and that hasn’t happened since I moved. I think I mentioned recently that my CD collection is almost as large as my comic book collection. I used to go to all the record stores around more than once a week and buy hundreds of dollars worth of cds every time. Damn, I had a lot of dispensable income when I was single, lol! I don’t ever keep my cds in any sort of order as they always just end up wherever they end up and I like that because it lets me come across different ones and listen to a variety that I wouldn’t necessarily get if I just searched in some kind of order. Funny thing about Korn is one of the guys in our group (I can’t go so far as to call him my friend) used to claim he “discovered” Korn and basically shoved them down our throats constantly. I mean, they can be entertaining but that was the source of that cd. DMX ironically came as a B-Day present from a good friend of mine who was the connection to the delusional “talent scout”. I think I’ve only listened to that cd once since I was never a fan of DMX but I did want to revisit it sometime so I’m glad you guys noticed it for me. Ah, those were the days. Live shows are so much fun, especially when you are hanging with the artists. I can’t even remember the last show I went to where I didn’t have backstage access.

Seriously. There is always talk about the best Valks and of course the newer versions are technically better in some ways. But the original Chunky is still what I consider the best toy ever made. Period.

Oh man...I'm's in lubs. I thought I would want the regular version with the weapons from here but f all that, this thing is beautiful!

I finally got my first GI Joe Classified figure! I was very surprised to feel the shipping box it came in and thought they might have sent other stuff with it but that is unlike Hasbro Pulse. Well, I was wrong...the box is huge and super premium feeling. Nicely done Hasbro! And I don’t praise them very often.

Ah, I didn’t remember that part about Hayate. Anyways, just messing around and carry on with the pilot name ideas! But for me, I don’t care what it says, which is what started this craze, lol!

I know you got your answer and want this deleted but there are the current KC Valks that are not models and 1/72.

Haha, not what you would have expected huh? I don't think Sgts. get flight duty clearance but hey, it's our own fantasy so wth right? On another note, I unexpectedly had to go to the office so I grabbed my missile sets while I was there. Looks like I will be getting to play some DX VF-1 pew pew soon!

Oh that's a bummer for sure! Madarake would not let that slide without noting it. But for you, it seems like NBD based on how you plan to display it.

Hahaha, what have I started? As for my original post to clarify...I saw the post about Kakizaki’s Valk having the wrong prints and was reminding people who were complaining that it comes with the decal sheet. Obviously for those who want the Valk. I said the decal sheet comes with the Valk, not the other way around, lol! For those who don’t want it, of course the fine and kind services of @Anasazi37 make a lot more sense. Maybe everyone can eventually get whatever Captain they wish on the side of their cockpits too?
