  1. Where is that destroyed Sentinel from? Looks kinda like the old Toy Biz base that came with Megneto but not quite the same.
  2. Excellent choice!
  3. NY! And still at original non-scalper price.
  4. Another example of way too many factors at play...Who knows? Maybe the sweat of a worker got mixed in with only the plastic that went into that lower left gear door and changed the properties of how the color changed? Not worth the time to figure out to me but again, I'd love to see someone come up with a definitive answer to all this.
  5. Haha, cool! Was that one of the Beatles that saved it?
  6. Yeah, I just don’t get what the big deal is. Turn up the yellows on your tv next time you watch Macross...there you go, now you have a screen accurate Valk again! Oh wait...most the toy Valks were never screen accurate colors to begin with. Throw them all out!....onto my doorstep.
  7. Do it! I’d love to see the definitive answer.
  8. Solving problems is great, I agree! The thing is, this is an issue that after decades of people collecting toys, there is no answer. There are simply too many factors.
  9. Too many factors and there is still no definite study on all of this. My take is enjoy your toys more, worry less. If your toys get yellow, so what? It’s a color. Now it’s a new color and you get to enjoy the toy all over again as a different color variant.
  10. I'm going to say the differences come from brand of bulbs, color temperature and overall specs and quality of them. In order to get better data, you'd want to make as many of those factors equal as possible.
  11. This thread was originally posted in the Toy forum: Who Can Guess What This Is/What It Does? That thread was moved but ever since it was moved the links at the bottom of the threads in the Toy forum always show "NEXT UNREAD TOPIC" as available but when you click it and you've already read all the other actual unread threads, this shows up: Sorry, there is a problem There are no unread content items. Error code: 2S136/J Can this be fixed so that the 'NEXT UNREAD TOPIC" link goes away like it used to? Thank you! Edit: Also a related issue is the Toy forum constantly has the "NEW" tag, indicating there is a new post even when there isn't seemingly because of the moved thread.
  12. This is getting complicated lol! My bottle of Future will last the rest my life and toothpicks and cotton swabs work great as applicators. Good to know there are other options if I never bought the future.
  13. That’s good to know! I swear by that stuff for all my cars. I’ve always thought about getting it for my home too but I just don’t feel like dealing with it (including hiring someone to do it). I suppose home windows are much easier to install than car but still, I gots too much on the plate already. I’ll consider it if I ever get my display room cleared out but I can also just put up some blackout curtains easier or cover with some art since I don’t ever plan on opening the windows for anything.
  14. It’s the Matchbox Top Gun Aircraft Carrier. About 3-4” bottom to top deck and maybe 1.5-2’ long when extended.
  15. crap man, everyone has Baroness multiples and I ain’t got one. Boo hoo!
  16. Is your copy really good or does it suck? Haha, it seems like all of them have been pretty good as far as I've heard.
  17. Got a bunch of other packages today...so many my wife asked if it was my Christmas today. Some of the stuff I got was more realistic weapons to use with my Joe figures. Just built and test fitted one: I'm really happy with it!
  18. Oh, and lookee what I just found outside! This is the first time I’ve seen these Arcadia shipper boxes for their exclusives. Are they taking a page from Bandai and their TWE releases? Also noticed the C/NO on the side. Anyone else get this and notice any differences based on the number? Anyways, looking forward to opening this beauty.
  19. Great points! I'm good with or without extra details but I do see the value in it. I mean honestly, how many hours does it take to customize something at that level AND give it the extra attention to detail to live up to a one off custom? I'm sure the time it takes is worth more than the entire price of the PF Valk and much more, not even counting the base Valk itself.
  20. Great life advice here! I also always love hearing about Car Performance developments.
