  1. I was expressing that on the premise of reasons to be sad, which was included in your statement.
  2. That's not the Chief's voice, Cortana's supposed to be blue, and the whole "upgradeable and controllable" thing doesn't sit quite right with me. Also, since when did the Covenant have Humans in it?
  3. I also imagine that with the increased number of aircraft, there would be an increased amount of space for storing reactant for their fuel supply. So that would cut down on space too. Not to mention increased storage for munitions. (yes, including the "Budweiser" mini-missiles. )
  4. I think we need to see a VF-1S as Roy next too....
  5. But we can consider them no longer being around to contribute to this world with their gifts , talents, personality and heart sad.
  6. Personally, I'd like to see more from B5 about the fleets and such. I know the main point was the station, but going forward, I'm sure there were more to the Earth forces than just what we saw thus far.
  7. Currently watching Redline (2009) dubbed version.
  8. Daedalus and Prometheus are about twice as big as a Nimitz class (at least) and with considerably far more internal space. That said, I think that 2200 might be more appropriate given those dimensions.
  9. True, but that said: all it takes is one mishap... Almost makes you wonder if humanity should be looking for another galaxy to move to. This one is filled with enough hostiles to scare H.R. Geiger into drawing children's books!
  10. Now it just needs one painted like Misa screaming at it!
  11. That's pretty fortunate for mankind on earth, since that's when man started first venturing into space. Had a Supervision Army vessel taken notice of any of our attempts to get into space, the human race may very well have ended up becoming another part of their forces. The more I learn of the backstory for Macross, the more I realize mankind has had more close calls with unfriendly forces than is right for us to be comfortable with! Now to the matter at hand: For reasons already stated, no, the ship was not "human sized". As it stands, I did a comparison recently of the SDF-1 compared to where I live; with the nearest mall to me about 3/4 of a mile away, if you parked the SDF-1 with the main engines/feet in the mall's parking lot, the freakin' bow would be just over my front yard!!! My point here is that were it "human sized", I don't think they would necessarily have made it as big as 3/4 of a mile. That would be a lot of mass in space for a human-sized crew to move; as it stands, the Macross class doesn't exactly "turn on a dime". At this point, I'm going to defer to Seto (hey Seto: keep in mind I have pizza! lol ).
  12. Both Daedalus and Prometheus were classified as super-large-scale ships; I take that definition as being larger than your standard naval vessels. As a point of fact: Prometheus has four catapults on the bow of the ship, whereas your standard Nimitz-class only has two on the bow. I think that says something regarding the size of the vessels.
  13. Hmm... would have been something if the SDF-1 had encountered it on its' trip back (one battle happened in Saturn's rings IIRC).
  14. Well, the pre-order Enterprise is only 60 bucks. At least it's not 150...yet.
  15. Found that paint scheme here: http://mechajournal.com/2016/03/gbp-1s-armored-valkyrie-color-plate-gallery/
  16. Well, given how badly whacked out "this era" is, I think we could use more grey and blue, red underpants and star spangles panties.
  17. Well...to be honest... I was kinda hoping they would find a few of them alive, in some hidden enclave on a distant planet. Maybe very elderly, with one of them the last remaining engineer who worked on their projects like the Zentraedi, Bird Human, Protodevlin and such. The group would walk up to them, and after a fairly cordial welcome, one of the group of NUNS people would clear their throat and ask just one thing: NUNS Group Member: "Excuse me sir, but I'd just like to know one thing about all the work your people have done in your culture?" Elderly Protoculture Engineer: "I'd be happy to tell you, dear child," NUNS Group Member: "Okay...er...how do I put this?..." *clears throat*
