Have fun with that walker. It looks like a really fun kit. I still haven't picked one up yet, but plan to soon. It seems like all the Starwars kits I've bought have legs, at least of some type. The R2, R5 combo are questionable, although I still call those legs.

I kinda want it just for the awesome pilot figure

The sensor on the top must do all the work since the eyes probably can't see forward with that armor in the way.

As much as I loved GI Joe in the old days, I still gotta say the o.g. Thundercats opening was one of the most epic openings ever on U.S. Television.

I may be mistaken, since it's been a few years, but didn't they do a purple bear. I wouldn't mind a rerelease if they did since I missed my chance before.

Got me a preorder on that efreet schneid earlier and now I'm enjoying some pics of upcoming stuff. I am worried about the unicorn, but it sure looks great. The 1/100 stuff for zz also lols nice.

Wave had a tease for a 1/35 kit recently and now an Arctic gear. I'm super excited. That may be my favorite at.

Alien: Covenant (formerly known as Prometheus 2)
Big s replied to taksraven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
It's so far at an awkward 76% at rotten tomatoes. The good reviews like it, but seems to get a bit choppy towards the last third. I'll probably still see it.- 352 replies

That looks like a lot of work for that little plane. It's looking good.

Loved it. I don't know if it's better than the first, they were both great films.- 115 replies

It may not have the giant pistons, but those wings will definitely bring up the price. Especially if they articulate the feathers.

Hey derex, I was actually thinking about mr surfacer black then coating with mr color chrome spray. Then a few bits of small trimmed masking tape around the edges and a base color of really dark grey and medium grey on the lighter parts, then peeling the little bits to make a more scratched look. And finishing with tamiya weathering metallics and maybe do a bit of a dark grey or black for smudges using those tamiya makeup compacts as my daughter calls them. The very small lights may just get masked and coated with clear colors depending on how things turn out with the chrome. right now I'm still trimming and gluing parts but will play around with some of those methods on some sprue before things get to the end. The parts I'm really not sure on are the elbow and knee clear spacers. I kinda want to leave them out, but I'm not sure the joints will hold the weight. I'm also not sure if I want to leave them clear if I do use them. In the movie there is nothing in the middle of those joints, just empty space.

It's a tough decision for me, but the brown is just a bit more eye catching.

Hmr has been a bit surprising as far as releases, so I'm really hoping those happen. Sh figuarts has a bad reputation for teasing great characters and never releasing them. I would love that Breetai, but I'm still waiting for that Char Aznable and that has me worried.

I wasn't paying attention and started this one after taking a break from the playing with plamo competition at Hlj, then realized after checking my emails that it was may the 4th.

They didn't do a 3 to 1 ratio as far as regults to glaugs. There were 3 man teams, but the glaug often had quite a few regults, including scout and missile variants as well as other units. I think the glaug was more of a commander of a ship that got bored and had to show off his sweet ride.

Where else are they gonna fight. Imagine going to work the next day having to talk about that epic gazebo fight scene.

I love decals, but I do have to agree that there is a realism issue. In 1/144 a warning marking as big as a bright red big rig and trailer is kinda awkward, but I do still like the look artistically.

Ghost in the Shell Live Action - March 31, 2017
Big s replied to Mechinyun's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Unless something dramatic happens with home video sales, I think the idea of a sequel is doomed. There would have been some kind of talk about it post release if the studio was confident about the project. Im still sticking with my opinion that this film deserves more positive attention than it got. And I also still feel it was far better than the majority of movies coming out and receiving sequel treatment.- 751 replies

They would be half the size unfortunately. I have both the kit and hmr version and the kit is completely dwarfed by the hmr. You may be able to resize them if you have the skills and some blank decal sheets. Or there may be someone that could help you with that.

That city looks like it's in more trouble than Gotham. It's got giant monsters one day and giant space aliens the next.
