I do see Nathan Fillion, but I think it the way the hair looks and the angle. I've seen the figure in person as well and it looks very close to what it should.

the workers at the booth said you can stop by during business hours, so I'm assuming it's also a physical store. I personally haven't visited yet though so I can't tell you what it's like.

Some of the pictures were fake, but from what I gather were based on products being produced like the 1/20 figure kits. I think the macross and nausica are in the kits and I can't be really sure on anything I didn't see a prototype for. If anyone has better info on what's fake, figma or a kit I think most of us would like some clarity.

Their kits are getting close to bandai quality and ease of part separation. Every kit gets better. They are very impressive when seen upclose and the larger ones are very poseable and have a bit of a skeleton to build on like an mg gundam. If you ever get a chance to go to an event I recommend checking out their booth. They usually do anime expo and a few others. Their employees are very helpful and don't mind showing what's in the box. They also usually have all the kits built on display. They also have a store in or near Torrance C.A.

On tag hobby they have a prototype of the deadpool and a bunch of other great teasers for figma. The mospeada is very entertaining and I gather it's a partnership with freeing. So much stuff, hope these aren't just teasers but thing that become reality.

I'm a bit surprised that Volks went 1/24 instead of 1/35, but more votoms news is always good news.

Ghost in the Shell Live Action - March 31, 2017
Big s replied to Mechinyun's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Most people don't really know about All You Need Is Kill. And most people didn't see Edge of Tomorrow because they got confused with the title and saw Fault in our Stars instead. Supposedly that's why they changed the title to Live Die Repeat when it was released on video.- 751 replies

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, in theaters Dec. 16, 2016
Big s replied to Dobber's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Effects were very big this past year and Rogue One has some controversy over how they did cg people, but I can't argue over how great the rest of the film looked. -

There was some talk recently about a Hollywood Attack on Titan film. At least most of the characters are already white and can avoid the controversy.- 751 replies

I saw that earlier and in the comments there were a few about how Thor and his partner should get there own Netflix show. I know I would watch it as long as it stayed to that kind of awkward humor. -
I didn't mean to offend the Jessica Jones fans, but the jumps did look a bit odd but not that bad. I guess I just don't want them to get over their heads with effects that may just look too cheap like in DC super hero shows or Marvels Agents of Shield. To me the Netflix shows look great, almost like a movie. They may have a high budget, but not a Hollywood blockbuster budget. I really can't think of a really great looking super hero flight scene in a series. Not saying there haven't been okay flights, just not really great.

505th I think no matter what paint you get you will have to do some mixing to get that color. And you said the local hobby shops nearby only sell testors but they may also have their new model master lacquer system paints. They have a limited amount of colors, but you may be able to mix them to what you need and they stick really well to moving parts. They're pretty close to mr color quality. You may also be able to order the paints you are looking for through those local stores. that color looks like it could be made with a standard purple mix then adding a bit more red and a bit of white. The gray looks like a standard gray with a touch of brown, but that's just from looking at the posted pictures.

The look of Iron Fist doesn't bug me at all. He may not be as built as the pics in the comic, but then again Jessica Jones would have been almost a super model and Luke Cage would have been almost twice as big if they were worried about looking physically like the comics. It's not as strange as believing in an actor in most martial arts films being able to handle any opponent, like a Jet li film. On another note, I hope Jessica Jones never flies in the show because her high jumps looked a bit out of place and trying to make her fly will be way too cheesy.

Ghost in the Shell Live Action - March 31, 2017

Whenever I hear about Carrie Ann Moss, all I can think of is her role as the older butch lesbian lawyer in Jessica Jones. She really aged a since the early 2000's.- 751 replies

If you do a review and you own a burglary dog, then I suggest that one due to all fun and accessories. It was probably my favorite. It had swappable lower legs and an awesome folding cannon and you could convert it into a standard scopedog.
