Is there any chance at all that I can find an Armored VF-1J for under $200 shipped? I really want one but can't justify paying more than double the retail price.
I managed to get a Regult (awesome) and Glaug (awesomer) and have the Monster on the way.
It seems that if you miss the preorders on these, you're priced out forever.
Yeah, I noticed that my purchases were getting more and more expensive...
When I end up paying for that Monster, it's gonna hurt a little more than I was expecting.
Almost 60 bucks for a small 1/72 scale kit, ouch! I've built the Hase f14 kit and it is not the easiest kit to put together. I'm not sure how popular it was but I think I'll pass.
MechTech, that's awesome! A 1/10th shuttle. They're lucky to have your skills at their disposal.
When you get done with that, you can start a Prometheus to go with the Daedalus.
Just kinda threw it out there, huh? Sad to see you leave. It's the end of an era. We were all really looking forward to a Cap'n version Q-Rau. Hopefully, you'll still keep a strong presence on these forums.
I vote for a full treatment Cap'n version! I agree with EXO in that we would need to redo all the major parts of the ship. It would be the same price as a full kit. Might as well get a full kit out of it.
The description says it's based on the DYRL version with "the essence of the TV version"?!? Are we gonna get a DYRL version with a TV paint guide? Getting the Daedalus and Prometheus will be nice but it won't be anywhere near accurate. Nearly every aspect of the two versions have differences.
So what are the "go to" colors to get in this line? I mean to paint a 1/48 Hasegawa strike valk. What would be good shades to get for the the exhaust and any other metallic parts?
