I couldn't discern an issue with my vt-1, I might have just used a heavy hand the first time I went to gerwalk.

Yes, the most obvious front runners, assuming the line continues are (in no particular order) A) A VF-1 repaint B) Tomahawk Destroid C) Phalanx Destroid D) N-Ger E) Reissue of one of the more popular toys (like the Regults since they're around 3x MSRP right now)

To add a bit more color, the N-ger toys were allegedly done (or near done, with functioning joints) at the time of the show. IIRC,, other 'toys' like the VF-4G and the DX VF-19K, were just 3D print jobs of one solid piece of plastic.

I thought they just put out stickers so you could convert VF-1J hikaru figures or something to emulate them...
  5. Ships from Canada... selling Captain America kits... my guess is it's Captain America
  6. If your disgust makes you want to sell the movie at a steep discount, let me know!

Bandai had the HCM if that counts.
  8. But DYRL is amazing. It's absolutely beautiful, the fight choreography is fantastic, and it has good music without obviously being a commercial for the music. I put it on a pedestal because it's great, not just because it's a rehash of a series I love. It also takes that story and modernizes so many elements in slight and believable ways enhancing the universe. Plus is good, the first Frontier movie is absolutely dreadful, the second Frontier movie is better but needs that dreadful first movie to be a complete story (and I'm not feeling a surfing capital ship), and I'm looking forward to some day seeing the Delta movie. MacrossII also exists.

Yeah, if HMR isn't at the next show then we have reason to panic... Until then, have hope!

The toys are small but I don't think you have to worry about the landing gear.
  11. Negative, that's the F-14.

And Bandai and their Photoshop skills...

For the lines that are doing zentraedi Mecha?

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

    That looks really good
  15. That's a very good point, the trick here is going to be to try to match the white with the valk so any TV valk (or Arcadia VF-1, excluding the pink 1J). I think TV Focker may be a front runner here. It may also give some people a reason to build there assembly kits without worrying about painting them.
  16. All this time, I pronounced it guy air res
  17. I sincerely doubt I finished Gaiares without resorting to cheating. There were a number of cheats available for that game.
  18. What's the huge Garland? Looks super chunky!
  19. Favorite shooter for me was Gaiares.

When's the next big show? I was expecting a super 1A Max after Hikaru and we still don't have that tomahawk! I hope they're not afraid of cannibalizing DX VF-1 sales.
  21. I would guess the head is a plastic part that plugs in, making the head swap in the prototype picture an easier mistake.

Bandai should take a page out of Takara's book and do a VT-1+ release that is 100% faithful to the original Hi-Metal 1/55 VT-1. It should be white and orange with a black head.
  23. For Yamato V2 toys, what's the best way to remove stickers? I bought a used VT-1 that has the number applied to the nosecone and I'd like to remove it but I don't want to create bigger issues. Can I just carefully peel it up? If it leaves behind some sticky residue, what's the safest method for cleaning it off?

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

I think the statement was more like "The VF-1 is my favorite so the announcement of a DX VF-1 is making me forego the DX YF-19." Not so much a worry that everything would be coming in 1/48.

They must be option parts to the display stands that FEXT is planning or something, those aren't the normal leg and arm connectors for the stand that comes with the OWL.
