  1. not sure if I already posted this before, but moar Pillows live awesomeness... https://youtu.be/e3TGy1cgffA
  2. OMG! OMG! OMG! Cutey Honey!!! 1/6 http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-015151 looks like castoff-enabled, too...
  3. No. It was never reissued coz it sucked. The original Hikaru Super-VF1S was reissued in 2002 and it has the standard Takatoku-original 1S head/eye and updated FAST-packs. edit: here's the 2002 reissue of the Super VF-1S: here's the 2002 reissue of Roy VF-1S: Btw, the stickied TOYS FAQ - The New Noobie questions thread should provide you with alot more information (including reviews and stuff): http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=33093 edit2: here's MacrossWorld's legacy Takatoku and Bandai pages (full of pics and stuff): http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/toys/takatoku.htm http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/toys/_toys_bandai.htm
  4. iirc, the only Origin Valkyries that were Supers (had FAST-packs) is the Hikaru-1A and the Max-1A. The FAST-packs were deep green, too. I think Veef or somebody else at CDX has a review on one or both of them.
  5. No. The 1990 was a Super VF-1S with the weird eye and is a Bandai, not a Takatoku. The Origin Roy VF-1S is a non-Super variant and is more similar similar to original 1984 Takatoku Roy. Also, both are way way overpriced from your links.

    Hi-Metal R

The integrated hands on the recent HM-R 1J were ridiculously hilarious fugly teeny-tiny hamster-tooth stumps...
  7. Saber Bride should be in glossy black instead. Also, 4-Leaves versions of Tony's are pretty, but are not castoff-enabled. They really should be.
  8. Arcadia should reissue their simple Macross Display Stand. As well as reissue an improved Mighty Block and Launch Arm stands...
  9. I think Keith desperately wants some yaoi figures here. Somebody post yaoi figures for Keith!!!111 ... meanwhile, kaitendo offers their version of Shamsiel... http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-015127 1/6 2/16 release
  10. Well, remember the grey-goggles shenanigans? Based on that, I'm not as confident...
  11. I'm more concerned about the "improved joints" (or "refined/fine-tuned") mechanism since that is causing the hips-joint/leg-issue on the new 0A. The Arcadia YF-19 was a new mould also (even if based on the old VF-19), but it has sucktacular ankle-joints as reported here. Heck! Their VF-1 was the old mould, but came out pink!
  12. Wait. I thought the VF-0A's new mold is only the shrunken chest. The rest are of the same design as the old one, but just using new materials, which includes the "improved" joints that is causing the current 0A's leg issue. Is that not true?
  13. So what are the chances that this Arcadia release will also have exploding hips/leg-connections like the current VF-0A?
  14. https://youtu.be/r8ALjzmQKUA This was definitely the best song in their last album (moondust). Live version is even better...
  15. 1/60 VF-0A Really costing you an arm (yamato) and now a leg (arcadia)...
  16. Yeah. I don't think any japan-shops other than HLJ will accept returns, so major bummer for you guys who purchased this crappy 0A.. HLJ might not even accept returns now, but try it anyway if you are not satisfied with it. Don't hold your breathe for Mr.K and/or Arcadia to publicly acknowledge this issue as their fault. Such a huge FAIL on Arcadia.
  17. now up for pre-o at ami: http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-015092 4/16 release-date.
  18. hah! didn't know the official full-length mv was finally released, so just sharing the full awesome... https://youtu.be/OnepkYIkFgE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnepkYIkFgE :hail:
  19. yo, mike! don't you have this already? if not, cdj still has one for you as of this posting... http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOGDS-136814 better have some points to use coz 7k-yen for EMS...
  20. I reckon Bandai just has the better ankle-joints...
  21. I appreciate that, dude. Thanks. Most people here at MWF (or outside of japan, in general) simply don't know if Arcadia is aware or not. Most of us just don't know if the Japanese fans have also noticed the same defect/issue of these new Zero valks.
  22. Somebody over at TFW said that Tryp's in stock and readily available in stores. In Australia...
  23. Movig on... Also, Domon of G-Gundam really is the only really likable lead of any Gundam show, UC and non-UC. He's pretty simple and quite uncomplicated. And this is with G-Gundam's even more simplistic setting and storyline. All of the other lead characters of the other Gundam shows have some moronic flaw(s) cooked up by the writers out of their collective asses to tie up some drama or plot-line that really don't make any logical or even common sense. But if you really want dramatic and kickass Gundam storyline, just watch 0080: War in the Pocket anime. The plot is pretty lame, but the storyline is linear and cogent, and the characters are mostly tolerable. However, it has this frakking awesome BLUE enemy suit called Kampfer. Yeah. You just gotta see it in action. Next up will be the 8th MS Team anime. Again, the storyline is pretty lame. The suits are quite boring in specs. The characters are sometimes too stupid for their own good. However, it can be quite engaging once you accept that. Especially the battles. Jungle-battles, urban/city battles. Etc, etc. Just don't watch the epilogue (ep-12) (which is a stupid add-on from Tomino) since that pretty much completely ruins it. End 8th MS-Team anime at ep-11 Shuddering Mountain II. It's more epic that way. edit: I forgot to mention that both 0080 and 8th MS Team anime does not have the standard Gundam storyline shenanigan of having some wonder kid as a lead and/or some mysterious character wearing shades or masks...
