Very comprehensive research. So much fun to read. Are you still working on or planning on writing an article of all your findings? When referring to the European version are you talking about the Milton Bradley Jetfire produced in Macau?

An interesting read from CollectionDX regarding compatibility between Macross VF-0 and Ghost from Arcadia and Yamato respectively. https://www.collectiondx.com/toy_review/2015/vf0a_phoenix_shin_kudo_version

This is also mentioned in one of the episodes of “A Toy Store Near You” on Prime. -
Let’s not forget this little gem here.

Whats Lying on your Workbench MK IV

Looking good! Nice job on the bridge windshield. -
That’s a bummer. Was that someone on these boards that we should be aware of? Would have been nice to have that set.

What about reinforcement gap?

For bridge detail go with metal etched parts. I hope you haven’t discarded the bridge widow. You can use this as a buck to clear form a new clear window from acetate sheeting. -

Wow. Great progress Pengbuzz! Can’t wait to see the finished project. -
Not trying to cause a stir or ruffle feathers, but I see your many valid points with exception to one. I honestly don’t think the VF-31A CF Kairos was THEE best for Bandai. I think the hype of not being able to own one is what created the mythos behind it. Hopefully Bandai will improve on this design and we hopefully we see it on the Mirage.

You sure are right about that. Having to scour brick and mortar stores, yard sales, and meeting up with others who knew of these items made for quite an experience. Those were some fun times.

DX VF-25 Messiah Valkyrie WORLD WIDE MACROSS (WWM) 40th Anniversary

Wait a minute, did Bandai just call USA bunch of fat asses? I’m cool with that, at least now they recognize us. 😜 -
Another must have for me. So far my collection has no holes and I want to keep it that way. Thanks Bandai and don’t forget the rest of the squad!

The 'Hey look at this really cool model build I saw' post

The rain effect is already there. Just needs lightning. There also seems to be two figures with a campfire inside. -

I would love to get that GU-11 Plushiepod. Icing in the cake would be if Arcadia released a Strike Pack which could be worn. Arcadia really brought the heat on with their display. Great way to celebrate Macross 40th Anniversary.
