    Cool. I will eventually be multi kit bashing 1/144 hg's with my son. He has a bunch he's built and i think reimagining them , kit bashed together, would be fun. It's ridiculous, the cost of ready built stuff ! As a builder, I always just figure the cost of materials alone. A work bench, as you've shown , should only cost a few hundred in materials. At most.

    So were those two YF-29's lost ? Or are they lurking around somewhere?

    I didn't realize Ozoma and Isamu's YF-29's were anything more than in game options for the sake of cool. Are they actually part of the M30 story or VFMF "canon".?

    That's not too impressive for such an expensive prototype. So Frontier has the ultimate YF-29. I wonder who pilots it now? Isamu..? He is an SMS pilot. Or do they keep it shiny in the box for Kabuki boy.. It's also interesting to note that the VF-27 didn't do too shabby against the YF-29. With some cyber assistance..

    How can anything have more powerful engines than the YF-29..? If so, that 303 must have quite a sturdy airframe. I wonder how much is really known about the YF-29 by other corporations and immigrant fleets, in universe. Or even of its existence.

    He was.." reluctant ", according to the Speaker Pod Cast crew. Apparently he agreed, so long as he could include the interview with Miyatake Kazutaka San. Yes , there is plenty of Tenjin Macross work, at this point. But I'm sure it's more involved than slapping it together.

    So how's the qc on the first batch? They really like the reissue dollar. I don't get it, but it seems to be part of their manufacturing schedule, or something. Of course they have the numbers in front of them. Perhaps there's a healthy demand .

    There will be a season 2 & 3. Based on the books sitting on the shelf at the end. The series was..good enough. Nothing great, but i check in with season 2.

    It sounds like they "improved " it's performance.. someone noticed it wasn't so hot compared to the original VF-31..? Personally, I don't think any specs should be as good as the YF-29. But they don't take my calls over there..

Some of these in the standing pose, as you've done, will look great in a hangar. Especially adjacent to the RC-4E Rabbit ! As far as actual deck crew, there's three great examples .Though the first two are more appropriate for something like the VF-1/VF-11 era. The last one is Frontier era. The last one is my favorite, but I would be happy to see ANY of these or better yet, a combination of either. Obviously, it's also what works best for you @arbit, in your design process. These may be just design cues or you can interpret them literally. I think there's a lot of wiggle room for designing deck crew.. SDF-1 era Digital Mission VF-X game era Frontier era If you care for any input or cheerleading, just shout out ! Thanks

    Looks great! What contest? Those are all great. But they're 20th century, and they look it. I have Hasegawa deck crews in the box too. But they're not gonna look SPACY enough without some very tedious modifications. We need a new line of sci fi , Macross deck personnel and support vehicles!

    Yes, i was aware of most of that. Thanks. I'm just not aware how many of THAT design were deployed. I'm pretty sure some looked more like the SDF-1..
