    Went to comicon in NC today. Sideshow had a booth. I asked them where my 1/6th Robocop was and they said it was the harbor strike. I got a 25 dollar gift card though

    I don't think so. The majority of collectors aren't going to review it anyway, but there isn't anything WEP can do about personal exchanges. If I made up some bulky re-imagined VF-1 through shapeways and sold it through paypal - HG couldn't do crap about it. It's more about selling these through an online site, or having it available in the official market. It's like when Beta toys sold 1/60's on the forums. HG had gone after his site in the states because he had macross items for sale. He was able to unload them all here through personal transactions.

    Yeah. I still think this beast will get to collectors though. Hell, I think Mad Toys could just go on RJ forums and sell them through paypal on the buy/sell/trade. WEP couldn't do anything about that.

    Well it's not due to ship until next month, but yes I definitely think this comes down to Josh's CDX review. CDX gets a lot of views so I'm sure some boyscout posted it to WEP. He should have held the review until product was shipping, but that's kind of the mentality of toy reviewers. "I want to be first." Also, I'm sure mad toys wanted to get the word out, but they should have done it through a smaller channel that wouldn't have attracted so much attention. I take your point that they are trying to do things with the license, but also I have no sympathy for Toynami and their products because it's so subpar in terms of design and quality, while they keep blocking efforts for a real gokin release from a quality company. You could argue HG has put out Shadow Chronicles and allowed the release of all the Toynami crap they've put out too, so I don't know how much that changes the argument. Crap products are still crap products, be it cheap flimsy toys or crappy made for video OVA's. In the end they are holding nostalgic properties hostage and instead of bringing something new to the table for the original fans they are trying to leech out money. They aren't as scummy as HG, but they aren't fan friendly either.

    I'm not addressing the other part, but it doesn't matter to me. I just find your shilling and pressure tactics a little creepy. But t-ment follows me around trying to start crap. Saying you don't care what somebody thinks when they are attacking you isn't uncivil. He's always making bullshit comments to me when he isn't posting weirdo pictures of kids toys that nobody wants to see. You're the one coming into threads where you aren't mentioned and trying to troll and flame. The only butthurt here is you. Sorry, but I've never seen anything you've done that was mind blowing.     Salvation is awful. I only liked the bits with Reese, but those were ruined with that totally pointless mute girl. Nothing in that movie made sense or followed any flow. It's just people throwing ideas at a script until it was finished.

    I'd agree if it was a hero Valk... but it isn't really. I mean... if a canon fodder was a little less brown... You can't say the paint apps and paint are bad, it's just off a bit. And the TRU prime has sold for close to 300 at one time

    I don't agree that the Toynami one is more "accurate"... Actually it's the stylized one. It's more toy accurate I guess... in the same sense that a G1 prime looks a certain way. The video below looks more like the mad toys version to me. But anyway.. looks like some lawyers from WEP are out in force. the PO's have disappeared. They pulled a Harmony Gold!!! I think people will still be able to buy it though. Also, I think this thing is going to sell even hotter now that WEP is trying to shut it down. I don't agree that most voltron fans won't buy it. If you're a gokin fan, you're a voltron fan, and you're going to love the metal content and simplicity of this thing. Josh probably sold hundreds of these things with his video alone. QA issues were the main thing that would hold this back and it seems pretty spot on.
