Well, compare to your first unit - is it similar? or the 2nd unit is not as tight? I've never took apart the foot and ankle section of my figures - so I don't really know what the mechanism is like. Other way I can describe it is - the feet works the same way as your VF-25's except that the labors have mre range of motions.

Medicom/Hot Toys and all 1/6 scale figures
Major Tom replied to EXO's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Hot Toys is killing the fanbase with their multi release of same figures instead of working on their other aquired licenses. I won't double dip in the same stuff, my current figures will do just fine. I hope you guys vote with your dollars, and don't buy things you already have - so they would stop re-making the same figures. -
Did you get a used toy? Because mine didn't have that many problem. My pilot seat also slide down, but other than that - there weren't any issue. The feet and ankle are double action as you can pull down to loosen it and push up once to set it in a pose.

NIce one JVM. Where can I get a copy of that Macross 30th Anniversary book?

To be fair that YF-19 is an old design. The new VF-19 kai and the later VF-19S & F are much more solid. There is rumour that Yamato will make the YF-19 ver3.

Aah Yes, Takani. He is the reason that I got into model kits and Macross. I love his art works, very O.G. BTW if you can pick up this book some where. Just do it. It has all of his Macross box arts in it: ワンダーアートタカニスタイル―高荷義之超現実画報 [大型本]
