  1. @MKT Out of all the Metroid games I played (and I played most of them) the only one I didn’t enjoy was the first one on NES. Just like many of it contemporaries it is has a lot of novel ideas but is so raw and limited by the technology of the time (and the players has a different mindset too). So if you enjoyed Super Metroid I can recommend Fusion and Dread which are direct sequels of Super Metroid and encompass Samus' story quite well. While I haven’t played it the AM2R unofficial remake of the second game would be a good add to the list as well. The Metroid Prime trilogy is awesome too and it still baffels me to this day that Nintendo managed for all its major franchises to not only to translate them into 3D games but also made most of them best-in-class versions (or found studios that could do it for them) were so many other game developers failed.
  2. Bummer. As one of the supporters that were "scammed" bei Zavvi that sent a mail to Pulse that Zavvi cancelled my order it hurts a little that Hasbro doesn’t think about those people first… …especially when miraculously additional stock shows up of a made to order item… …I feel like at this point it sounds plausible that that Hasbro just didn’t sent all the orders to Zavvi… …the more I think about it the angrier I get.
  3. Can you see if Victory Saber is still available (in Europe)? I don’t want to spend €50 for nothing.
  4. Don’t say that! I might have to buy it now.
  5. I'm watching this 7 hours Metroid retrospective on YouTube and since most of the games are retro now I thought this thread was a good place to post it. It is also an interesting rundown on most of Nintendo's past consoles and an iconic, beloved character and a long lived series that was never super successful:
  6. @mikeszekely I am as puzzled by the rock Armorizers as you are. They probably wanted to to Rocklords but thought kids won’t play with robots that turn into sphere-like objects and thus they are now vehicles.
  7. I bought the Medieval Blacksmith during a sale since the set will be taken of the market end of this year and I might buy the Lion Knights Castle next year to go with it. Being the first set in the style of the modular buildings it was an interesting building experience. But I think I'm more of a vehicle guy than building houses and after a while the stacking small pieces on top of each other got a bit tiring. Maybe I'm more of a Lego Minecraft guy? But it is cool to see what you can do with all the small pieces. Loved building the quilt for the bed.
  8. They sure are valid options. And Sagat is not orange. But I have the SHF ones and I'm contempt with my choice. If Bandai decides to release more, I'm on board.
  9. SF Guile already sold out at HLJ and Amiami. Still available at Anime Export (¥8000 pay later): https://www.anime-export.com/index.php?product=74880 [edit:] sold out
  10. I could but then it wouldn’t fit in with the other SHF toys I have. In my mind I only want SHF Street Fighter toys.
  11. I'm excited because from the SF characters I played as a kid, Guile was the only one missing. So while I agree that Bandai probably will drop the line again it is some sort of competition for my collection. Same goes with Mafex Rogue, so I hope we see her soon.
  12. To my knowledge the 1st company being only comprised of Terminators was true until the advent of the Primaris Marines. Games Workshop even bundled some Bladeguard Veterans with the first release of the Lion as his honor guard, so they are official. I would love to get a new Ezekiel mini. His pose for the 2nd edition mini is super iconic to me. @Seto Kaiba I love that Primaris Asmodai is planting his sword in the helmet of a Fallen. I wonder if there will be a rift between the Lion and the Dark Angels chapter given their stoic nature and strict policy regarding the Fallen (and the Lion's more lenient 40k character).
  13. New Dark Angels miniatures: More previews here: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2023/11/18/world-championships-of-warhammer-preview-all-the-reveals/ I hope JoyToys announces their versions soon.
  14. Yes it is glorious. I was disappointed that it turned to high school antics and did not kept the underground golf going. It also had some curveballs too; I was certain that they both were sisters at the end of the first half of S1. The reason why to show features Gunpla so heavily is because it is sponsored/produced by Bandai Namco so naturally they want to get some cross promotion in. I'm having a hard time getting into anime this season. I started Girlfriend, Girlfriend season 2 but even in a reverse harem show were everyone is (mostly) aware of their feelings they sill can’t get the romance going. If this is an adequate representation about the Japanese youth, I fear for the future of Japan. Also started I'm in love with the Villainess but I already read most of the manga (I think) so no surprises there. I need to get back to Shield Hero S3. While season 2 was watchable it never reached the greatness that was season 1 so I hope the new episodes will increase the quality of the show.
  15. I'm not to enamored with the Metal Build reveals. I already own a bunch of Astrays (still buying the Green and Mirage Frames). Glad to see the Impulse Gundam but it almost looks too normal for the style of the Metal Build line. I'm also picking up the Deathscythe Rousette. Overall just one new mold for the Metal Build Gundam line is pretty unexciting.
  16. I really wish Bandai would do a Phantom and Ghost Gubdam in the Metal Build line. Such striking designs and much more exciting that the 4th iteration of the Astray design.
  17. Are there any hints in the book that Sanguinius might be coming back in 40k or is he dead for good? From a miniature aspect it would be a good addition to the Imperium. The other missing loyalist Primarchs are, with the exception of a werewolf Leman Russ, pretty bland.
