  1. Right out of the box, Blitzwing is a bust. It's a fiddly mess whose tabs just won't stay in place. I'll see if those mods do the trick, but I shouldn't have to. I'm hoping Springer will bring some redemption out of this wave.
  2. I never did find FoC Grimlock around here, but I totally scored and snagged Springer and Blitwing at Target today! It was a bit of a surprise as I didn't think they would show this early.
  3. Chogokin Shin Getter 1! It's so bought.
  4. I seem to be singing this version now instead of the original:
  5. I just finished Bioshock Infinite, and I definitely had a blast. I'm usually indifferent to FPS games, but when it's wrapped with a compelling story like the one in BI, my inerest is piqued. I almost crapped my pants when I . I'm not entirely sure on one thing though: I didn't get a few voxaphones so I may have missed some story elements.
  6. Hopefully it's still in the works. It was shown two years ago as a prototype, but nothing solid yet. Their Gurren Lagann was shown at the same time, and THAT one was released, so who knows.
  7. Relatively new to the toy scene, Sentinel has been working to put mecha in toy form from various series from Detonator Orgun to Gurren Lagann in their RIOBOT line. I could've sworn we had a thread for them, but I couldn't find it. In any case, their latest release is the one I've been looking forward to the most, and it looks glorious: the fighting Blodia from Capcom's Powered Gear and Cyberbots games. I love the old mechs of gaming yore, and this one looks to earn a place on my shelf.
  8. A Firebee? The target drone? My first thought would be using the skeleton from a Prime Soundwave, maybe even Prime Starscream as they both have really slim alt modes.
  9. There's still hope: Shenmue 3! Please Mr Suzuki, no more sailor hunting.
  10. My god, it's full of stars. Man, look at those Low Viz valks-thanks for the throwback, Kevin!
  11. Nothing new, although BBTS has the Takara pre-orders for the triple changers scheduled for August. I read news that the G1-ish shoulder launchers for MP Prowl and Bluestreak are exclusives for Amazon JP preorders. And you only get one per MP. What a crock, those launchers should've been included to begin with. I was afraid something like that would happen, because those empty looking pipes the regular releases have just looked off to me.
  12. That's it! That's the weird looking "Ingram" I saw long ago. While I'm not really stoked over the re-design (maybe it's a prototype for the iconic Ingram), I'm hoping it will spur on more merchandise. Like a Yamato (ahem) Arcadia 1/24 Griffon. I want one sooo bad.
  13. I could've sworn an attempt was made for a live action action movie years ago during the 90's. It didn't go through, and I remember the police labor being ugly as sin. This new ingram just looks a few notches better.
  14. Seeing how they treated Uranos, TFC's Divebomb just might turn into a chicken. Check these out. Not knock offs per se, and I am seriously tempted to get that bot/tank/scorpion triple changer on principle alone.
  15. I was thinking the shoulder cannons on two of the bots look like Predaking's feet, and the guns on the left most bot look like Predaking's back cannons. Just a guess.
  16. +1 on both Valkyria Chronicles and Demon Souls series games. Great challenges on both games, but polar opposites in terms of environment. I highly recommend Xcom Enemy Unknown. It's kinda watered down from the old PC games, but it's still a blast to play.
  17. Nice, that's quite a feat for an original custom. However, if MMC stays true to form, their version is what I'm getting. Y'know, I really like what Reprolabels does, but sometimes they make a figure look quite garish.
  18. Lovin Prowl, and his shoulders definitely look Binaltech-y. And I actually wouldn't mind the "patorol" printing.
  19. I'm liking the orange MMC chose for it; it's not that glaring, almost flourescent color that the Unique Toys counterpart has. Speaking of which, it is true that the Unique Toys Predaking is a mass-produced version of a fan-produced custom?
  20. I have many precious AnimeCon memories thanks to him, this is truly sad news.
  21. Their pages are gone now-I guess they ran out of stock. I reckon the RiD version was chosen over FE due to it's simpler transformation, but those ugly peg holes are useless if it doesn't come with appropriate accessories. If there was ever an upscaled KO I would totally support, it would have to be an enlarged Windcharger from the scout class RTS sculpt. Love that little guy.
  22. Arrgh, still no Grimlock in my part of the woods. Speaking of over sized Primes: Super sized RiD Prime. They got a biggified Wheeljack too.
