    Hate is such a strong word. In terms of aesthetics, MMC is winning, but I'll have to read up on the final product before I buy it. I'm just glad all these versions of Predaking are being made. Heck, I'm just glad all these 3rd party companies are making TFs that Hasbro/Takara will never tackle. And for the record, I like Hercules a lot. But Maketoys Giant is better

    Lion mode looks great, and the torso already looks better than UT's offering. In the end though, the circular parts on the hips and shoulders put me off. Oh, and the sculpted "abs" - Predaking doesn't need abs.

    Same here, but I'm pretty sure at least the first four Senshi will be released regularly. But I could easily see Chibi or even Tuxedo Mask being some sort of exclusive.

    Well there is Cybertron Thundercracker, later repainted to be Divebomb for the movie line with Su-37 colors. Had to get him and Dreadwing just on the principle of having transformable Russian fighters.

    I'm so glad Orgun didn't turn out to be vaporware. I was beginning to think it wouldn't get past being a prototype, and it looks pretty good to boot!

    There's no contest between UT and MM's Predaking offerings. The beefy legs make him look more monstrous, and will be great contrast when displayed with Giant, Bruticus, and even Uranos. I liking the big feet too; it'll just add more stability for the added bulk of the arms.

    I'm not sure what to make of this: Toyworld IDW Prime. I can't help feeling that this will be upstaged by Has/Tak's own offering of an IDW inspired Prime. I just have this hunch that the Legends version that's hitting stores soon is just a precursor for a much larger versionvthat may be released for the big 30th anniversary. Meh, it's probably just wishful thinking.

    I'm guessing this was their way of kicking off the 30th anniversary of TFs. With such a huge toy, I would've thought they'd give it ankle rockers-boo!

    After some fiddling around, it's clear Springer is definitely the better of the two toys. Bot mode looks fantastic and with waist articulation, it makes for some dynamic looking poses. With less kibble and empty spaces, Springer's alt modes are less contrived than poor Blitzwing's. It's so good, it just might replace Warbot Defender's spot on the shelf. Locking tabs are solid, weapon integration is neatly done, it's about time Has/Tak did justice to a triple changer. It's a shame about Blitzwing, I had high hopes for him, but in the end, he's just a mess.

    Right out of the box, Blitzwing is a bust. It's a fiddly mess whose tabs just won't stay in place. I'll see if those mods do the trick, but I shouldn't have to. I'm hoping Springer will bring some redemption out of this wave.

    I never did find FoC Grimlock around here, but I totally scored and snagged Springer and Blitwing at Target today! It was a bit of a surprise as I didn't think they would show this early.
