    Start here. It's almost obligatory at this point. After all these years, I still get a chuckle out of it. I too am in favor of a new MP Hot Rod, no Rodimus, just Hot Rod-just to have his alt mode in scale with the other MPs.

    Not too long ago I sprung for the Sager NP8275 / Clevo P170SM, and I can't find a thing to complain about it. While I was shopping around I saw that the Sagers had great prices compared to other equally spec'ed gaming laptops. In the end, my choice boiled down to a MSI or Sager.

    I admit it was kinda weird watching the cockpit go "erect" during takeoff cutscenes in the game, but the overall coolness of the game just made me let it go. BTW, AmiAmi has discounted the Riobot Jehuty by 50%. IMO, it's the best Jehuty toy out there, and if I didn't have one already, I'd be all over that deal.

    I just might get that version after looking at several pics. It seems like it has a bolder red than the regular version, and the big honking bazooka it comes with looks killer. It's hardly fair comparing the sexy MG kit to its dinky RD counterpart, but RD's are great to have when shelf space is a commodity. That being said, I'd love to get the MG Sinanju, but that black and gold chest looks like a chore to paint and detail. And from what I've read, the gold etched linings that come with the kit are hard to work with, so I'm thinking the RD will scratch the Sinanju itch.

    Yep, RD Sazabi is great; lots of articulation and quite stable. I'm thinking of getting a RD Sinanju, but dunno if I should get the regular version or the animation version.

    Non rapid fire weapons AND a rotary joystick-that one was so hard on my hands even as a kid. It was like Ikari Warriors but much, much harder.

    Leo and Dingo could both be considered as Jehuty pilots, and both reluctant pilots at that (although Dingo didn't really have much of a choice in being a pilot). Leo hides ADA/Jehuty after the events of ZoE, and Dingo inadvertently finds Jehuty at the beginning of The 2nd Runner.

    After playing around with it for a while, I can say Whirl is a decent TF. His bot mode in all his spindly, goat legged glory is a refreshing rendition of the G1 counterpart, and sets it apart from the original Dorvack design. As far as his alt mode is concerned, I was really hoping the gap between the leg assembly and cockpit in all the promo shots was just a mistransformation, but if you follow all the transformation directions, there's no way around it. The landing skids are also set too far back, which makes for one already bulky looking helicopter even goofier. Unfortunately, the skids aren't easily removable, they're molded into the legs. Moving them farther forward would involve snipping them off, sanding, and gluing-which kinda sucks. To make things worse, the skids have such a low clearance that they can't accommodate a gun attached to the nose. Despite those weak areas, it's still a fairly convincing helicopter mode, probably the best a tf has ever had, but it still can't hold a candle to the original Ovelon Gazzette.

    The fact that that FT plans to include those nasty clogs for MP-8 leads me to believe that they will not be making their version of Grimmy. Maybe those other 3P dinobots will be smaller to compliment MP-8..
