  1. Makes me wonder how many intact ones are left, to reference from...
  2. Here ya go, early F-14: (yes, the shadows are exaggerating their size, but it makes them easy to see)
  3. Really, they are homages to the F-14's glove stiffeners above all else. Very early F-14's had larger ones than you usually see. It's why the VF-1 (and VF-0) have them.
  4. It mirrors the VF-4 in a way. All of its fins and wings have the same angles as each other, too. (this is actually quite stealthy in practice, though I'm pretty sure that wasn't in mind when Kawamori made the VF-4)
  5. I'm gonna agree with that---3 was good, 3rd strike was better, 4 didn't appeal to me much. But 2---I doubt any game I'll ever play, will suck away as many hours of my life as that did. (when you add up arcade, 2, championship, turbo, etc).
  6. I was wondering about the circle too. (and hoping the final colors are not quite as saturated as the box---it seems just a touch more blue than the previous stuff they showed us)
  7. I figure Yuuma has enough skill to repair "normal" damage to Build Burning. Maybe not recreate its uber-particle-abilities from scratch, but surely repair an arm etc. That, or as Schizo said---level B just LOOKS like "real" damage in the playing field, but is just more of a "disassembly" thing in real life.
  8. Did I somehow miss a new Build Fighters WING ZERO?!?! 1/144 HGBF "Wing Zero Honoo":
  9. I do believe that Concorde story is true. The Blackbird works because it EMITS heat by being black, vs the XB-70 and Concorde reflecting it away with white.
  10. Not enough to be concerned about much. Concorde is supposed to be kept glossy/smooth, but that's about all I've ever heard. XB-70 had horrible paint problems, but never directly affected it AFAIK. Sure looked bad, but that's about it I think. Some airliners that switched from metal skin to composite skin for some areas for weight savings----the airlines requested that the composite areas be puttied over, for a smoother appearance! (as the "weave" in the composite was visible through the paint). So surface imperfections that small didn't seem to matter aerodynamically, as otherwise the manufacturers wouldn't have made the change. I presume mainly due to boundary-layer effects.
  11. Yup, when I saw your previous post about 24hrs drying, that's the first thing that came to mind. Future doesn't dry in a day. It takes DAYS to truly cure.
  12. I do, the first version came with "nameless pilot-guys". (I am of course, REALLY hoping for an actual Grace pilot figure this time----the 1/72 kit had one of her!)
  13. Actually see her piloting? No. But at the end of ep 22 she puts on a VF-27-specific flight suit, walks over to #102(Brera's is #101), looks at it, and at the beginning of ep 23 she's now on board the Galaxy, so it's HIGHLY implied that she flew it there. (Only cyborgs can fly the -27). And both the kit and DX specifically call it the "Grace-type", when you combine CF colors with commander-type head-unit. (Like #102 was clearly shown to be)
  14. Gregory Paul seems to be on a life-long quest to eliminate/consolidate as many species and genera as possible, until we're down to like 5 total species of dino. EVERYTHING is his books is listed as "synonymous with X" or "likely just a large specimen/female of Y". According to him, there is no Triceratops nor Corythosaurus for example.
  15. Dorothy was my fave cameo by far. Mainly because the situation/expression was just so perfect for her.
  16. All the more reason to have just picked the -23 in the first place...
  17. Back on topic to this release of the -27 please, and not which DX valks are and aren't deserving of the term "renewal". And no, this does not mean "one more last jab/proclamation from each member, THEN back on topic".
  18. Nope, mine had that problem. Did the nail polish fix. (FULLY moving the black glareshield into place actually makes it worse, 95% is a better fit for the nose, but was visibly misaligned prior to the fix)
  19. Yup. Alto's VF-171 is nearly "DYRL grey", but is still considered "white" to most people. (heck, a lot of people consider DYRL grey, to be "white")
  20. Should have just sold them the F-22 years ago. Far better to give our allies stealth, than have China just steal it from us... Anyways----I'm getting a YF-30 vibe from it.
