  1. Or perhaps the 011 will be included in the TV fast packs release. (ugh)
  2. IIRC the ET Legioss is not 1/48, its FAR too big for that scale. More like 1/35 or something, similar to the old Gakken but maybe a bit smaller. The Sentinel's legs are so much shorter than the Toynami or CMS in fighter mode, that was one of the main problems with the CMS. I assume the Toynami has a similar issue. The connection to the boom from the Tread needs to be VERY strong (as well the Tread to its boom). If that's done correctly, it would be a great product.
  3. IMO the stand needs to be white. That connection piece to the Legioss is a copy of the Tread's connector boom. AND ITS HOLDING THE LEGIOSS!!! This gives a lot of hope that: 1 - They are planning a Tread and have already worked out the connection (its not an afterthought like it was with CMS and Toynami) 2 - The Legioss and Tread will hold together securely with the connector arm like in the anime Hoorah!
  4. Either they didn't have many left or a lot of people were reading this thread...it was $50 on Amazon last week. I would have definitely bit the bullet for $25! I went ahead and picked up Xabungle and The Wings of Honneamise on clearance though. Would have liked to snag the Patlabor and Ideon sets at the same time...
  5. Hachette build rant. Set #37, I lost one of the 4 small pins for the anchors. Probably the smallest piece in the whole kit, and they only provided the exact number. p I have a whole tray full of the excess screws they give you (over 50 I think), but they only provide the exact number of 3mm pins? I'll try and find a medium-sized paper clip to replace it, but what a PITA.
  6. Ah, ok, there really should be a PO dates pinned thread.
  7. Was this today? I know its an Arcadia website release, but usually those are on a smattering of other stores also.

Nevermind, watched the video. So the 2 Macross, something that's "not exactly Gundam but looks like a gundam", the Xabungle mech already released, 2 other things I don't know and 2 L-Gaim mechs (he said HI Spec). Disappointed they arent continuing the Dougram line as TWE. I guess I need to watch Xabungle.

Was there anything non-Macross shown under the HMR line? Did they reveal that FSS mech?
  10. I'm cool with it as-is, so long as the legs are easier to get in and out than the Yamato.

Would have been cool if they packaged a static ES-11D Cat's Eye for the "recon pack".

Love the scout. Packaged with a VF-1S most of us already have...not so much. Would have been sweet if they put it next to an HMR VF-1A Kakizaki. Or the low vis Fokker.

Will suck if Bandai only shows the DX VF-1S Hikaru and HMR VF-4G Fokker and nothing new/unseen.
  14. I'm still 2 behind on the Eaglemoss Galactica series, but it looks like they're extending past the announced 12 releases. Next up is Colonial One. So maybe we can expect more like the Cylon Heavy Raider, Colonial Shuttle, Battlestar Valkyrie, Blackbird, Viper mk III, Scar, Cylon Resurrection Ship and maybe some of the rag-tag fleet ships.

Glaug is my favorite of the line. Monster is probably 3rd. 2nd is likely the VF-4, they took the Yamato and made it smaller and sturdier. VF-1's are cool and all, but so many of (basically) the same thing and I got a bit jaded. I still love the HM Max best of the VF-1 series. Bandai nailed the blue color back then.
  16. Who could I talk with about creating the shapeways parts? Anyone know?
  17. So I'm caught up on the Hachette build through set 36 (the tester for the front of the hull). There's an annoying amount of light bleed between the hull sections from the fiber-optics. I wish I knew this would be the case from the beginning, I would have put some black paper along the inside of the hull seams as I built it. As it is, I'm going to try and stuff some black card stock from the top along the seam lines. Will use some super glue to help keep them in place. The lights are quite impressive though. Need to get a new soldering iron to reattach the wires for the anchor mechanism.
  18. Nearly 2 years later this line for Orguss must be dead (the entire Variable Action Hi-Spec line seems to be focused on Cyber GPX whatever that is). But I have a different question related to Orguss toys. Why hasn't anyone made Shapeways replacement parts for the hips and knees of the Takatoku Ishkicks and Ishforns? There are a lot of toys that could be repaired.

Tomahawk in Max colors, more in this fashion

Yes, I want a Max custom Tomahawk. :P

    Hi-Metal R

Yeah, the Tomahawk is severely overdue
  22. The Yamato is about $110 shipped for 4 kits a month (buying 2 at a time). Total cost over 110 weeks (2 years and 6 weeks): $3000 So about $1300 a year. Mind you, 1/3 of what you're paying for is shipping. Mine is about 1/3 built, and its VERY impressive thus far. Check out this test someone did thus far:
  23. I'll agree wholeheartedly that M7 is WAY too long. There are many aspects of the show I like, but also many I do not. M+ is far superior IMO.

Do we have a preorder date on the Fokker VF-4?
