  1. I have high hopes for this thing. Price point is about the same as DX VF-1. HOPING the articulation is similar. It's gotta be better than PG kit nd hopefully not as unstable as RAH.
  2. This is a MUST FRAKKING HAVE! Ordered on HLJ. Wish is was the TV versions, but beggars/choosers and the like.

I expect them to milk the HM-R VF-1 mold a few more times. As for Q-Rau/N-Ger and Tomahawk/Phalanx...not holding out hope. Perhaps they regretted milking the VF-4 mold?

I'm sure its not completely done, but any Macross HM-R releases will likely be few and far between at this point.
  5. I mean this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4599619
  6. Anyone willing to print the boom from the Sentinel Legioss to Aoshima/Toymami Tread? For $?
  7. Anyone hear from Anime Export on shipping prices/ completing order yet?
  8. Are those little B25 figures parts-formers?
  9. I'd rather Bandai announce a couple weeks before it happens, seems like the Roy was announced days before the preorder date.
  10. Just a notice that my CMS Zeta Legioss/Tread ends in roughly an hour. My Eta sold for under $100 https://www.ebay.com/itm/324371777103
  11. That's cool but this really needs to be HM-R!!!
  12. Do we have a date for the 1D preorder?
  13. Agreed on the SDF-1 TV version. We've been needing a good replacement for the Takatoku/Matchbox for 35 years. I'd like the VF-0S and a VF-0A also.
  14. With the Bandai DX VF-1's, Arcadia should get out of the VF-1 market for the time being. They do an excellent job with the other valkyries, they should really focus on those. A PF YF-21 before Bandai does it would be a smart move.

The Dougram vehicle additions are cool and promising. I want that line to continue more than I do HM-R Macross. Blockhead, Ironfoot and Bigfoot are crucial.

    Dedicated to Macross Hi Metal-R...
  17. From the look of it the Roy GBP is black instead of the dark blue of the standard GBP. Crap, I don't have a Roy 1S on order, but now will need 2-3...
  18. Interesting work. I'm not sure the Legioss looks like that during the series, only the opening animation. But there may be an exception for the episode with the 3 drone versions of the Legioss.
  19. Anyone want to print and sell these?

C word? Oh COVID. The problem is Bandai's desire to branch the line into other series, which they always do (except the DX Macross line). Had HMR been a Macross-only line, it may have continued for a longer time. Unfortunately the poor sales on the Xabungle, Techroid Blader and now L-Gaim figures will likely kill the line for us Macross fans. The Dougram sold well enough to warrant a re-release and I think both of the other Dougram releases were web-exclusives. The HMR Dougram prices have been falling also. That's the only other line I would have kept collecting. As it is I sold my duplicates and the Messer VF-1. I may not keep the HMR Elintseeker, will see. I have the Arcadia PF one and I really do not need 2 representations of it. I wonder if collecting is hitting a contracting phase again in general.
  21. Current state of mine. Some of the parts are not attached (bridge, smokestack, secondary battery).
  22. If any needs Hachette 078 I have an extra. Also, I'll likely have 2 extras of 087. It feels like there's either a lower supply now. I've accidentally ordered 2 sets twice now due to the panicked nature of waiting for new releases... On the model I'm through 084, I may have constructed the AA gun movement section incorrectly, I guess I'll see when its testable. Some of the "D" tops on the pegs go different directions. If they still rotate I can fix it by making the insertion point on the 4-gun AA batteries a circle rather than a D. Putting the last part of the hull together was a royal PITA. They should have sold a set of proper tools to complete the kit. All of my screwdrivers were too short and it took a lot of work. Also, instructions in English would have helped tremendously. I still despise the fiber-optic insertion mechanism. Some of them pop out without glue quite easily. Smaller fibers would have been great also.
