  1. I don't hate the ET Legioss, it was just overpriced. The Toynami however was garbage. Mainly because of the materials they used. Also, Toynami got the colors wrong, but Aoshima corrected it. Can someone comment on the Sentinel Legioss stand which uses a simulated tread connector? Perhaps someone can create a connector based on the Sentinel stand which connects to the tread like the Toynami method?
  2. Its the music. It definitely ups the anxiety factor.
  3. Mine from AmiAmi is OTW. Friday delivery.
  4. There's something "off" about it in soldier, but the fighter and diver modes are pretty. I guess this is our first legioss built for fighter which has compromises for soldier.
  5. Fingers crossed its perfect. Then I could get rid of my CMs and Evolution Legiosses.
  6. I have 2 order from NY that are only Preorder Payment OK and haven't been shipped. DHL is not an option at NY. Works great and is cheaper at CD Japan. I wonder when and if they'll ever be shipped.
  7. How long are we until JP Post starts shipping again do we think?
  8. I ended up parting with all the BSG fighters and kept the 3 battlestars. I'll probably get the Valkyrie, but I still need to watch Blood and Chrome...
  9. Could be Jetfire boosters, but the box looks like a bootleg (no Bandai logo). So its possibly a bootleg packaged with Jetfire armor.
  10. Just having fun. It looks good. Better looking than the Sentinel heads.
  11. Oh no, its Admiral Rick Hunter.
  12. That's pretty nuts
  13. A general Yamato thread would be better. The discussions of 2202 and 2205 cross-reference one another.
  14. Hoquet, then Shinobu as a special release. Gotta milk those molds.
  15. Actually it was Kaiyodo. About 5 years ago... https://www.collectiondx.com/news_item/11915/mega_sofubi_advance_evangelion_unit_1
  16. Glad I ordered a new set 001, applying the the vernier nozzles to the nose area in set 002 I got glue on the outside of the metal (there's not really a surface for the glue on the nozzle to attach to, I accidentally wiped it off and took off/smeared some of the tampo. In set 003 there's these TINY (1 mm x 3mm) little component things to glue on the inside of the cockpit that could just have easily been molded in. Anyways, when I snipped one of them it flew off to never be found again, no bother, not like you will see it anyways...and its just black on black. It a very different kit than the Hachette Yamato. There's more useless/pointless gluing of pieces. Also, gluing plastic to paint on top of diecast metal just seems like a dumb idea...(like on the seat).
  17. I'm out on this one also. I could have lived without the 1S Hikaru, TV Fokker would have been much more appreciated. I'll get a TV Kaizaki or TV 1A, but I'm kinda burnt out on the DYRL simple recolors stuff. Scalpers, y'all have at it...
  18. It doesn't feel nearly as dystopian as the first season. It doesn't OOZE dark sci-fi. The main actor casting doesn't help. My favourite actor was the J sleeve.
  19. The Kakizaki is very obviously a kit. The jagged panel line and the fact there's no diagonal seam line through the middle of the kite. Also, the paint is very flat.
  20. My 001 was missing the big plastic piece that holds the console in place. Arty least its only $2 plus shipping to replace.
  21. About half way through Locke and Key and the show is pissing me off. So many chances to take Sam out and they AVOID every one of them. Bad writing. The writer should not have presented those chances, so it wouldn't have felt like stupid keep-the-villain alive tropes.
  22. Considering selling the dark ET Legioss. I think I'll keep the others.
  23. Seems like they haven't managed to get the arms to come together well in fighter. Only Gakken seems to have gotten that right.
