  1. I figured it would be pay later but I didn't see the option, I also didn't make an account and essentially checked out as a guest. Paypal is usually pay up front but I just whipped out a CC and paid. BBTS and most sites DO charge later, but maybe Endgame Thanos is a different story for a lot of sites due to it's popularity, or there is no pay later for that site in general, not too sure, I've never ordered from them. Glad I got one locked down either way, maybe since it's a Google store or whatever they don't offer pay later? Agreed though, I'll be keeping my eyes peeled on more sites to have pre-orders up, especially that MK85.
  2. Thank you for the link, I nabbed a Thanos from them. Every step through checking out it let's you know how long your order reserve will be held for, also, it said the item I was purchasing is selling out soon, so yeah, I got lucky. Pay up front, but whatever, it's US retail, I'm more then happy to pay up front instead of paying much more later. I just gotta keep my eyes open for MK85, Ronin, and if I see her, Widow.
  3. I got that sweet, sweet nostalgia driven Steamboat Willie set on the way. looks good. Yeah, once again, a few compromises were made from the original set, but I still think Lego did a damn fine job with it overall, the "black and white" look is pretty neat.
  4. Yeah I liked the original head, but this new one is pretty damn great too. I love the grey on the face plate, the new head is very much Transformers the Movie, it looks pretty fantastic. Also, I saw the backs of the knees are no longer silver, they molded or painted them into a matching blue from the rest of the figure. The knees were never an issue for me, I honestly never even noticed the backs were silver, but that's cool they already made slight upgrades from the V1. Kind of shitty but TF-Direct informed me I can get the new head, but will have to add something around $10 to the order with it to cover shipping. I figured completely free, shipping included, would be too good to be true, I mean it's not on TF-Direct to eat that cost, but still. I guess I'll add a few dry rub decals or something so I can get my new TE-01 head.
  5. Yeah I already replied to you above, they are LONG gone, and no, I didn't get crap from them, everything sold out within five minutes of going up, it's crazy. At this point I'd settle for just Ronin, Thanos, and the new Ironman figure, I don't need another Widow, Cap or Ant-Man, even though I like the Paul Rudd head, and Widow is a new mold. I fear I may have to just buy up a Thanos off Ebay, and then hope and prey there's more stock of the others when they actually come out. At minimum I NEED that new Thanos, if I can only get one figure from the Endgame line, it will be him.
  6. Yeah I meant Justice League film universe Flash, Ezra Miller, as no3Ljm pointed out, he's supposedly already done with the role, and dropped out of the now in longtime production hell Flash solo movie. So the DC shared film universe is down two of it's big six from the Justice League, that's crazy. Also, I've gotta wonder if WB and Ezra lost interest because it was rumored WB was trying to force a Crisis storyline into the Flash solo movie, with very little having gone down in this connected universe yet, that sounded like a bad idea, and nothing more then a way to shake up casting with all the drop outs. Also though, CW-DC is doing their own take on Crisis for the big crossover later this year, you've gotta wonder how embarrassing it would be if they did the story better, on a budget that would be a mere fraction of what WB would throw at the big movie. I do believe so, yes, which I really loved.
  7. Like I mentioned above, Bruce Wayne is just a child in this, so no Batman anytime soon unless they do something real crazy and imply Thomas Wayne, who is still alive and well in this, becomes an earlier Batman instead. Which would be dumb. I'm wondering if we'll get what we've gotten in a number of different Joker stories, a reveal at the end that Joker was the narrator of his own story all along, therefor, nothing we'd seen or heard is reliable in any way, due to an unreliable narrator. Joker being the author of his own story isn't anything new, but it's usually a real interesting read when it does happen. As others have said, this is the story of A Joker, and that premise works for me, it's another take on One Bad Day, which is all it ever took to make ANY Joker.
  8. The TellTale Batman series was frakking fantastic, too bad TellTale went the way of the dinosaur :(. Honestly? I think this looks pretty damn good. These stand alone films have been great, it's as if these should have happened before a half-assed, haphazard team up featuring DC's most well known super group, which no longer has it's Batman, or from what I've read in the last few days, it's Flash as well. I think elseworld style films are a good idea, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Shazam keep the shared universe going, then just have fun and try to make actually good DC films around them. Is Suicide Squad 2 a light reboot or an actual in DC film-verse sequel? I read Jai Courtney will be back as Boomerang, and possibly Margot as Harley, but Smith isn't returning as Deadshot and may be replaced by Idris Elba? DCs shared film universe may be a bit of a mess still, but once again, their stand alone films have been pretty damn good. I got to see Shazam last weekend at an early screening at town square and it was hilarious, and honestly, quite heart warming and charming, I really liked it, and I think it will do well, it deserves to.
  9. Bruce is the little kid in the trailer Joker messed with through the fence, Thomas Wayne is in it too.
  10. I still haven't managed to pre-order crap from Endgame, I guess I'll have to keep my eyes on BBTS, I doubt HLJ will have any openings, maybe Ant-Man and Cap, but doubtful on Ronin, Thanos, Ironman or Widow.
  11. Too late, they did, and EVERYTHING is already sold out. I didn't read anything about BBTS putting them up yet, and I received no email from BBTS. I'm guessing I'll get their little email about new items up for pre-order in an hour or so, obviously far too late to be helpful. That Thanos is going to be murder to get at a decent price, at this point, he is sold out everywhere except for a handful of pay up front shops, and NY, which already put a healthy markup on all Endgame Figuarts.

edit: Nevermind, figured it out :).
  13. Yeah it pisses me off too, not even a chance at pre-ordering this stuff, the Tamashii page for Figuarts Endgame went up last night, as the figures went up for PO. Super helpful Bandai, thank you for the timely heads up. That new Thanos looks amazing, too bad I'll have to end up getting one at BBTS, with a stupid mark up on the price. Ronin and Widow look great, once again, too bad I'll probably have to settle for the stupid overpriced Bluefin version from BBTS that comes with some dumb rock or explosion effect I don't want.
  14. I had no idea any of this was going up last night, so yeah, I missed out on literally everything. That sucks. Cap and Ant-Man look like a pass, Ronin, Thanos, Widow, and the new IM armor would be the only ones I'd be interested in. Also, any reason why these aren't in the snazzy new all white outfits from the trailers? Ant-Man and Cap look nearly identical to previous releases, except for that sweet Paul Rudd head for Ant-Man, that would be my only reason to pick up Endgame Ant-Man.
  15. Lucky you, it's a damn fine MP Prime. Also, it was confirmed the second batch of TE-01 comes with the second head as well. For us first batch buyers, contact the shop you bought it from and ask them about it, I bugged TF-Direct and they said a batch of just heads would be on the way sometime after the second batch of the entire figure comes in, then they would be emailing all first batch buyers to see if they wanted one, which yes, I most assuredly do.
  16. I had an Apollyon and loved the bulk and aesthetic, I just got the short end of the stick as far as QC goes. To this day though, I still think he's a damn good looking MP G1 Megatron.
  17. I don't like this figure for Optimus personally, I went with TE-01 for my new Prime, but White Prime/Magnus? Um, frakking yes please? This is so bought, looks fantastic.
  18. Masterpiece MP-43 Beast Wars Megatron is MASSIVE! I maintain MP-36 Megatron wasn't anything too special, and too expensive, but this monster? Absolutely worth it. I can admit I'm biased, I was born a bit too late to grow up with G1, THIS was my Megatron, and always will be. #monkeynottruck
  19. Good lord, he's a REALLY big purple dinosaur.

    Hi-Metal R

All these beautiful shots are making me antsy, I won't have mine until Saturday via DHL. BUT, my VF-4 is being delivered with none other then the big purple dinosaur himself, Masterpiece MP-43 Beast Wars Megatron. Now THAT is going to be a fun box to open...
  21. This looks almost too good to be true, it just looks so damn phenomenal. THIS is the sequel we deserved, after being fairly disappointed with the first film in general, THIS is what I expected from a super budget Hollywood take on Godzilla and his buddies. I am insanely excited to get my hands on the brilliant looking MonsterArts figures, these designs are fantastic and this movie looks amazing. Agreed, Endgame will be great I'm sure, Thanos will get defeated, but this is the movie I'm most excited for in 2019.
  22. MP Beast Wars Megatron is officially on the way from HLJ, along with my Figuarts EP-III Obi-Wan, finally, and Hi-Metal R VF-4. Should be a nice little box of goodies.
  23. I got tickets for a Fandango early screening this Friday night. I'm excited, these stand alone DC films have been pretty fantastic. It's as if Justice League was a bad idea to do as early as they did, as if it was rushed and should have happened AFTER these stand alone films. Also, Batman murdered over 20 dudes in BvS, and I'm still salty about that.
  24. I may be biased, but it was frakking fantastic. I loved the Super anime and getting a canon Broly has been a wish of mine for a while, the odd not-Broly we got in the form of Kale was neat, but not the real Broly, and now with canon Broly, confusing. Yeah, there's a lot of fan moments, but they did a solid job IMO of making Broly an actual character, not just that giant, powerful dude that's angry because Goku was a loud baby.

    Hi-Metal R

Wow, the Hi-Metal R VF-4 looks leaps and bounds better then the old Yamato/Arcadia version, that version just looks cheap and basic now. I'm excited for mine, I may even grab a second, and yes Bandai, bring on the TWE M&M versions, I'll buy those too.
